Author has written 8 stories for Indiana Jones, and Harry Potter. UPDATE: 10th December 2011 First of all, I hope everyone has had a good year. I hope to get a new chapter of Living in Darkenss out before Christmas. Three of Eight has been removed pending a rewrite. The Apprentice is also destin for a rewrite, mostly to deal with language and excessive bashing. I've been writing for nearly 20 years with school writing projects which only lasted a few pages of A4.. I'm now in the progress of writing my own book - a science fiction anthology. As well as Harry Potter fanfiction, I'm also writing my own fanfic based on the Back to the Future trilogy but with major changes. Thanks to my sources, I've got a copy of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 and have had a few good ideas, inspired by it, some of which you've seen in The Great Harry Potter Preview - especially The Space War. My HP fanfic rules. There will be no details of any slash/femslash sexual activities although relationships will be mentioned. There will be femslash in The Traitors and it's rewrite but that is it, although not described, it will form a key part of the relationship of two of the main characters. I may have other slash or femslash relationships but they will be with certain characters, but in laymans terms, there will be NO Harry/any male, especially Draco/Lucius/Snape/Voldemort, Ron/other male (the three male wedding thing in Harry Potter Black was a prank). I have no problem with gays or lesbians - my sister-in-law is one herself! There will be no Hermione bashing in the traditional way. What gets me about some fics is why would Dumbledore approach a random Muggleborn before first year for the intent of spying on Harry? Purebloods maybe but a Muggleborn? Getting her to spy on him after a year or two IF they are friends is more creditable, but I can't see myself using the idea. Doing it all under mind control is more feasable. There is slight Hermione bashing in the current chapters of The Apprentice but that is because she lives by the book. Harry will not quit Quidditch post fifth year because of training to deal with Voldemort - he needs something to help him unwind. I will try to find reasons to keep Harry away from the Dursleys before they can do much damage. It is different in The Traitors and The Apprentice because his past with them is key to the storyline. | |||||||
