~So, a little bit about my writing style for y'all:

1. I DO NOT tolerate any form of yaoi, yuri, or incest. You will never catch me writing any story with any such pairings, and there's no exceptions. I also dislike writing Lemon/Lime/sex-in-general stories, so you won't catch me with those.

2. If you ever read my Yu-Gi-Oh! stories, bear in mind a few facts about their names and ages. Most of them go by their Japanese names, mainly because I don't like the dubs names (okay, Jounou-inu's is okay, as are a couple of others, but they are few and far in between); I like the dub and the sub both, the sub for the deleted action scenes and the dub for the memorable quotes. There are a few who are going by their English names. Look below for said characters:

-- Alister's Japanese name is "Amelda." Now, poor Alister already has enough problems with gender recognition; why let him have a girly sounding name? And his poor little brother...can you honestly see Alister calling his little brother, "Mikey"? Not me--Miruko's cuter sounding.

-- Rishid's English name is "Odion." I dunno 'bout you, but if I hear that word it makes me think of the word "odious," which roughly translates to something he is most certainly not. I know, that IS his Japanese name I like best, but just figured I'd explain.

-- Ishizu goes by 'Ishizu'; Isis is her ancestor.

--...No, people, Kalim is NOT Rishid's ancestor, and nor is Shada. Trust me. Just because they happen to have the same voice in the dub does NOT mean that they are linked (insert eye roll here).

-- Raphael and Valon also go by their English names. It suits them better--plus there isn't that much difference between their Japanese names and their English names ('Rafaeru' is how you PRONOUNCE Raphael in Japanese, NOT his Japanese name). Any family of Raphael and Valon are in English, as are some of my own characters; occasionally there are cameos from different series, so kudos to you if you figure it out...

-- The Marik/Malik issue. 'Kay, me personally, I don't like the name "Malik,"...makes me think of all sorts of reasons not to call him that--so I always will call him Marik. Because I loathe and despise his Yami, and also because I don't respect him at all, he will be given the title of either Yami Marik or just plain Ishtar.

--After heavy debate, it has been decided that Noa Kaiba is fifteen years old, mainly because the idea that he is older than Seto doesn't stick. I will be going through and correcting any stories with the discrepancy that he is twenty. It also makes writing stories about him way easier.

--Sugoroku Mutou also goes by his English name, frankly because I can't picture him being called, "Sugoroku"; he will, in my stories, be referred to as 'Solomon'.

--Here's two really confusing things I recently found out. Jounouchi and Honda's names have a bit of controversy behind them; apparently, Jounouchi Katsuya is supposed to be read as, 'Katsuya Jounouchi' and Honda Hiroto is written as, 'Hiroto Honda'. Again, after much debate, I have decided to reverse that order. Jounouchi and Honda are referred to in the anime by their surnames, so I will as well; their first names in this case shall become their last names.

--Priest Seto and Seto...I refer to P. Seto as 'Seth' because that way, I know who I am talking about. Seto keeps his name.

-- Domino City...eh. I can't figure out where the heck I want it at the moment, so I will leave it up to you to decide where it is. My very first oneshot said that they resided in Japan, but I don't know enough of the cultural background to effectively write about it.

I completely understand and dislike the typical 'oh-so-perfect, can't do anything wrong' kinds of OC's, so mine will be as human as possible. If any of you feel that my characters are turning into Supermen, let me know

6. Occasionally, while stuck on writer's block, I tend to surf the FanFiction archives and browse through stories. I also tend to have divine inspiration strike me while reading these stories. Unfortunately, because I (literally) go through hundreds of stories per day, I often don't remember (when I write based off of a scene I read in said stories) who the author is or what the story was. If you ever read my material and you recognize something--as a head's up, I reference LuckyLadybug frequently--that I didn't give credit to an author for, let me know. I certainly don't want to be accused of plagiarism.
