Update November 1st: WHOO! So, through wonky keyboards and crazy classes this year, I have managed to finally finish my little story "Heat." Sorry that it took entirely too long, everyone. Hopefully, someone out there will still enjoy seeing how it ends. :) ANYWAY, so, again, I am totally into Yakko from Animaniacs fandom right now. Anything Animaniacs makes me happy, but there aren’t enough fics for it on here, so I’m thinking of adding some of my own. As of right now, I have two started and a few other ideas floating around…but of course, no guarantees because I am completely fickle. Sorry. BUT I shall try to find time to get that done. Hopefully, some of you reading this will have some vague idea of what fandom I’m talking about and you can check them out if and when I get these puppies posted. If not…enjoy what I have anyway. Thanks for putting up with me, everyone. I’m totally grateful to all my readers.

Happy reading, everyone! Thanks.

Non-update October 2nd: Sorry to disappoint ya, but I have yet to finish chapter 5 of "Heat," all. My bad. Life's been changing all around here, and I'm trying to adjust, but I hope to get back to my fanfic writing soon. It soothes me. So, chapter 5 shall be the next thing I post whenever I get that finished. On another note, my reputation as a generally fickle writer has not failed me yet, and my current obsession is...Animaniacs. Yeah, didn't see THAT one coming, did you? I said I'd never get into that again, but then I realized how awesome it was again, and now I'm into it again, and I might try writing for it again, even though humor is hard for me...I feel like I need an "again" here. Anyway, just updatin' all one or two people who happen to check my profile. Whoever you are, I love you. :D Haha, this is what Animaniacs does to your brain. It makes you silly! But...gonna try to think angsty DP thoughts for awhile so I can churn out a sufficient chapter for all the readers. Thanks bunches, guys. Yadda, yadda, flambe...yeah, no one gets that. Gonna stop now.

I haven't really had anything substantial up on my profile page in awhile, so here are some things you may (or may not) like to know about me and my fandoms:

In General: I love to "whump" (angst, torture, injure, etc...) my favorite characters in all fandoms. My favorite characters are almost all exclusively males (I am a female, so I don't think that's too surprising). I have troubles with female characters, actually, because I feel they are often overdone as either too feminist and strong or too meek and girly. But I do enjoy some girl characters. My pen name stems from the fact that I am completely unoriginal and was in love with two fandoms when I created it. Actually, I think it still suits me. The "Danny Phantom" part refers to my favorite and "default" fandom which made me join this site, while the "SG-1" part displays my very first fandom. I often shorten it, for sake of space and trying to erase my unoriginality, to DPSG1.

Stargate SG-1: Ah, my very first fandom. I started writing for this show when I was...um, 11 years old. It was quite a few years ago and long before I ever started actually posting anything to this site. In fact, my very first fanfiction is posted here for sentimental reasons (and to provide a good laugh or two), but many of my SG stories are not posted due to general lack of quality. Not that many of the Stargate fics on my account have quality, and I apologize for that. I was young and not the very best writer in the world. On the bright side, I do not, by any means, hate the show now; I simply don't have the desire to write for it. But I do get sudden, impulsive urges to write for former fandoms sometimes, so don't be too disappointed. You may see an SG fic of higher quality from me in the future...maybe when I hit 100 stories, I'll shoot for a return to my original fanfiction love. But we'll see.

My favorite character is Daniel Jackson, whom I adore whumping, as many do. My favorite episode of Stargate is probably "Meridian" and my least favorite is "Hathor." Oh, and I used to absolutely LOATHE Sam Carter, so, though I have grown to tolerate her, I may not be so nice to her in my fics. Sorry about that. Again, that was years ago and she is a female character. :)

Danny Phantom: I'm afraid I got into this show late in the game. I started liking it in 2006, a little before "Urban Jungle" aired, and my desire to write fanfictions for it is what actually inspired this account. I'd been writing for Stargate for years, but when I got into DP, I decided it was time for me to share my writings with the world so I could get some feedback and maybe pursue this "writing" thing for myself in the future. So far, I haven't regretted it. ;) Anyway, Danny is my official "default " fandom; I'll get obsessed with random things here and there, and I'll dabble in them, but my adoration for those often wanes, so I retreat back to Danny because I feel as if I'm never done with him. Though I may appear to love other shows or movies or books or whatevers more than him from time to time, Danny shall always be my fanfiction love. Simple as that.

My favorite character is Danny, of course, which is why he's the one often in the most trouble in my fics, but Vlad is actually tied as my favorite character in terms of the show. I just can't write for him because he's so incredibly suave and enigmatic. Ah, well. My favorite episode is "Reality Trip" because that's what got me officially obsessed, and I do so enjoy drama. And my least favorite episode is "Splitting Images," as it just seems to leave a bad taste in my mouth. As far as characters, I can't really say I hate any of them, with the exception of maybe Jack, and I love Jazz--probably my favorite female character ever. Hooray.

As for my unfinished DP stories, I actually may finish them someday. "The Ghost Portal is a Stargate!" (my crossover) needs some serious revisions, though, and I'd need to get reacquanited with SG-1 again to be comfortable with it. As for "Failure," I never meant to leave it hanging this long, so if I can find some time to re-read and possibly re-write parts of it, I will get back to that one. I apologize for those, guys. Really.

Wind on Fire: The only reason I even attempted to write fanfiction for this is because I am positively in love with this book series. It's what inspired me to write more and to love reading again. My favorite character is Bowman, though they are all endearing in their own little ways, and my favorite of the books is "Slaves of the Mastery." Oh, yeah.

Stargate Atlantis: It sort of pains me to admit that absolutely none of the SG:A fics on here were written by me. My friend (who so originally goes by "DPSG1's friend") wrote these, but does not want to deal with the hassle of maintaining a fanfiction account. So I took them in. I, also, enjoyed the show when I watched it for the first two and a half seasons, but I sort of gave up on it after awhile. Not sure why; it just wasn't as good as SG-1 in my book. My friend liked it better than the original series, however. So her stories are here. Anything that is not finished may never be finished, though, as her desire to write for it plummeted after they killed off Beckett. Bad move. The only one she may continue is "My Ain Folk" because it is such a gem of an idea, and I, personally, don't want to see it go unfinished.

Favorite characters include none other than Carson Beckett and the lovable Dr. Rodney McKay. Don't know about my friend's favorite/least favorite eps, though. Sorry.

Pirates of the Caribbean: My first real movie obsession. I, again, was never obsessed with this until very late in its run. In fact, I only started writing for it after the third movie came out. The third PotC is probably my favorite movie of all time because they gave my favorite character my ideal ending: death, but risen by immortality, but still dealt with an angsty fate of separation. Beautiful. I cry at its perfection for me, though I tend to skip around while watching the movie, as it is bloody long. Obviously, Will Turner is my pirate man, so he isn't so lucky in my fics.

Animaniacs: This obsession literally came out of nowhere, and I could never write for it because...well, it's all funny, and I enjoy writing drama and squeezing angst out of the most flufftastic stories. And it is very difficult to angst these guys, unless you watch "Wakko's Wish." So I never wrote for it until I needed to find some kind of segue from that fandom back into DP. It is one of my few attempts at humor. And Vlad. Yakko is totally mine, and though I don't know what my favorite episode is, I definitely love "Wakko's Wish" due to the angst potential, and my favorite song is the "Nations of the World," though there are sooo many brilliant songs in the series, it's hard to choose.

Harry Potter: Ack, I haven't even read the seventh book. That's how good a fan of HP I am. But Neville is my favorite character, and he was practically calling to me to write a story for him. So I did. My favorite book of the six I've read is "Goblet of Fire," though the Neville parts of the seventh book (which are the only parts I did read) certainly make me smile, as do his parts in the fifth. I like Harry Potter, really I do, but I'm not in love with it by any means, so any future projects on my part will be pure whimsy.

High School Musical: Ah, my third love. While DP and SG are probably my most notorious fandoms, HSM certainly made me feel the best about my writing. I wrote for these movies forever, and though the second movie is probably not my favorite (wait...maybe it is...), that is the only one that inspired me to write fics. The fandom taught me a lot: I had to be my most creative to write for characters immersed in a world of little tangible plot; it is possible to have over 100 reviews for one story; people do flame you just because you write for a certain pairing; and my writing isn't half as bad as I thought it was. I always felt mediocre at best (and still do, really) when writing for DP and SG in the company of such greats, but in HSM...I don't know, I always felt good about what I put out there. I feel that it's some of my most creative work, and the readers in that fandom can be amazing. I enjoyed being pretty good at writing for a fandom, and I'm using what I learned from HSM and applying it to my future fandoms (as well as my default DP) so I can be good at all of them. Some of the stories for HSM on this account are not mine; rather, they are my infamous friend's property. Each story by her will state so in the author's note. One of those stories is "Go the Distance," which remains unfinished, but I'm hoping to have my friend back into the groove of writing for HSM soon. Even I think I could go back to it if I ever felt the urge, as I'm not sure I'm completely done with the fandom yet. I still have a few incomplete oneshot collections myself, so...I may return. :)

Ryan Evans is by far my favorite character in the movies, and I think Lucas Grabeel is incredibly talented in them. Least favorite character is Gabriella Montez, as I really dislike Vanessa Hudgens's voice and acting skills, but, again, that's probably my "female character" bias coming into play. I don't, however, bash her character as I often used to do to my least favorites (perhaps another lesson learned from that fandom), and I often even make her a main character in my fics. Go figure.

Psych: Though we both enjoy the show, I can't seem to write for something that's supposed to be both hilarious and murderous at the same time, so I left the writing for Psych up to my friend. The only one of her stories I have posted is her finished oneshot, "Goose." I believe she has more, but she has a penchant for not finishing things, so...I won't put them up unless they're done to avoid another "My Ain Folk" or "Go the Distance" disaster. ;) We may have more soon, though. We'll see. Favorite character is Shawn, but Gus is a close second, and I have no idea what the episode names are, so I won't even attempt to tell you which ones we enjoy.

Avatar: The Last Airbender: The only reason I have a story for this is because of Pravus Malum, who is my friend and whom I adore. I wrote the Zutara oneshot for her, but I found myself having a lot of fun writing for it. If I knew the show better, I could get into it, so I may watch more eps and write more in the future. We'll see. The various pairings for it intrigue me. Favorite characters are Momo and Uncle Iroh, but in all seriousness, I like Zuko, too. Don't have a favorite episode, but the finale is by far my least fave: Seriously? A lion turtle??

Hercules: My favorite Disney movie of all time, and Herc is my favorite character. This simply stemmed from the fact that I wanted to write for it, but it took me forever to come up with an idea. How exactly does one mess with a "happily ever after" ending like that? Ah, well, the angst was good, but I'm not sure that I'll attempt it again.

VeggieTales: The crossover that I have between SG-1 and VT clearly shows my immature age at the time of writing for SG. ;) But I actually think this story is pretty funny, and, if written better, could have turned out kind of amazing. I love Bob the Tomato. Yes, that was in present tense. I still love Bob the Tomato.

Anyway, writing this has made me realize that I should go back and revise some of my old stories someday, not to mention finish all the dead-looking ones. I'll try. Really. But I'm a fickle writer, so you never know. Hope you enjoyed my little snippets of reminiscing. If not, I at least had a good time recounting the years in which I have written fanficiton. Hopefully, there will be more to come.

Every day needs a little Daniel, Danny, Bowman, McKay, Beckett, Will, Yakko, Neville, Ryan, Shawn, Zuko, Hercules, or Bob (hah, not really Bob) whumping. So enjoy.
