Author has written 6 stories for Stargate: Atlantis. Hi, Thought I should write something on my profile as it was looking a bit empty. I am a Christian and have been for many years, and I am studying English Literature with Creative Writing at university in the UK. I'm in my third year and I can't for the life of me believe how fast the time has gone, before I know it I will have to start living in the real world; that'll be a shock to the system. I've just started writing Stargate Atlantis fanfiction, but have written for other genres in the past, but I think for now I'm going to be settling in here as I have a few ideas chasing each other around my head. So hopefully I'll be able to bring out a few more stories over the next year or two. I'm also involved in Year of the Spark over in Stargate Atlantis fanfiction. If you go into the Shweir/Sparky forum and click on the link you can find out more. I wrote the story for the 10th Jan and the 24th Jan, if you want to check them out. My icon is by Jackie, by the way: http://www.sheppardweir.com/icons.php?cat=Jackie I like reading favourite lists, so I feel I might as well do my own. Favourite programmes: - Stargate Atlantis (pairings John/ELizabeth, Teyla/Ronan) -Stargate SG-1 (pairings Sam/Jack, Daniel/Vala, Daniel/Janet) -I used to love Farscape when it was on, it was the first t.v. programme that I was truly obsessed about. -Scrubs, because it's one of the few shows that can make you laugh and cry in the same episode, -Lost, although I fell that I may come to hate it if we don't find out what's going on on that island, -Neighbours, because it's such a relaxing soap to watch, although I have to say it's gone down hill of late, but maybe that's just me getting old, -Heroes, the first season had me on tenderhooks waiting for each new episode; it's great. -Friends, just because it's Friends, I'm always quite happy to sit and watch an episode. Favourite books - The Inheritance trilogy: Eragon and Eldest, Jedi Apprentice series, The Underwood Sea trilogy, Artemis Fowl, The Black Magician trilogy. Favourite films - Lord of the Rings, Pay it Forward, Click, Anne of Green Gables (I haven't read all the books), Pride and Prejudice (I haven't read the book yet), Sliding Doors, Aladdin, Pretty Woman. Favourite music/artists: Steven Curtis Chapman, Michael W.Smith, Life House, Will Young, Casting Crowns. Favourite season: Summer Favourite month: August Favourite colour: Purple I think that covers most things, although I'm a bit appaled to see how much more I've written for favourite TV programmes, rather than books, I really need to start reading more. Quotes: Thoughts disentangle themselves when they pass through your fingertips. Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but the moments that take our breath away. If you don't have something worth dying for, then you aren't really living. Anyway that's me done for now, congratulations if you stuck with my profile up to this point! | |||||||
