Hey y'all!

I go by April. I'm 18 years old and am a proud brunette. After all, Edward loves us best. Or should I change that to Jasper? ;)

I'm what many would call a hopeless romantic, especially in many pieces of literature. (And the ones where the main characters go back in time to find their love...like in Judith O'Brien's Timeless Love, or Caroline B. Cooney's The Time Travelers...) I just love literature and history.

For the past several years, I have been interested in journalism. I tend to lean toward feature pieces or book/movie reviews, but I love being able to express myself through the publication. You wouldn't be able to tell by this profile, but I tend to be quite shy and rarely speak up--unless I really want to participate in a discussion or am chatting with my besties. Those who don't know me think I'm quiet; those who do wish I was.

I'm absolutely enthralled by any mentions of the Tudor reign, Europe (especially Italy!), World War II--the European side mostly, or the Victorian/Edwardian eras. And because of that, I love The Other Boleyn Girl and Meet Me in St. Louis.

Everyone might want to sweep it under the rug, but Lizzie DID kill a man. Isn't killing a number one priority in the mob? Alright, so Lucktard and Spam are amazing, right? I love reading, although I haven't done much of it lately, what with school and all. I try to read anything I can get my hands on, unless it is of the horror or non-fiction genres. Nowadays, though, it takes me a while to actually finish a novel. I am determined to read most of the classics in my lifetime.

Freedman as Herself; The Egypt Game; Bat 6; Flying Solo; Love Stories; Just Ella; The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants; A Grain of Sand; Nancy Drew...all that good stuff. :)

And my all-time favorite authors are Francine Rivers, Kate Klise, Laura Peyton Roberts, Judith O' Brien, Stephenie Meyer, J.K. Rowling, Libba Bray, Judy Blume, Ann Brashares, Carolyn Meyer, Laura Ingalls Wilder, and Caroline B. Cooney.

So, what else? Hmm...well, I surf the Web a lot (who doesn't?) and I LOOVE to write. Especially fanfiction. Although I do love to both read and write it, I find a hard time in trying to continue my stories. So, if I am too slow for your liking, please accept my apology. Sometimes, I just write for the annoying plot bunny to go away, and then I can't think of anything else to add on later. And I don't usually get that annoyed with pairings, but some have been especially disturbing lately... (Not to mention the fact that I usually get distracted with someone else's fanfictions...)

Umm...I think Tom Felton and Henry Cavill are the absolute hotties in the acting business...and Corbin Bleu and Channing Tatum are the hottest guys in Hollywood...with Ed Westwick, Hugh Jackman, Tom Welling, Justin Hartley, Tom Welling tying for second. As well as Johnny Pacar and Skandar Keynes. Favorite male soap stars? None other than Steve Burton, Bradford Anderson, Brandon Barash, Bryan Datillo, Darin Brooks, Aiden Turner, Jason Tam, and Trevor St. John.

My favorite actresses are by far Anne Hathaway and Amanda Bynes, but I do have several others--though not qualifying in the top two. They are Emma Watson, Leighton Meester, Mila Kunis, Katherine Heigl, Kristen Bell, and Allison Mack. And favorite female soap stars? Definitely Rebecca Herbst, Lindze Letherman, Kassie DePaiva, Kirsten Storms, Lindsay Korman Hartley, and usually, Alison Sweeney.

My favorite singers are Taylor Swift, Kassie DePaiva, Vanessa Carlton, Darius Rucker, Jessica Andrews, Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney, Mitchell Hansen, Corbin Bleu, Beverly Mitchell, Carrie Underwood, and Judy Domeny Bowen. Favorite bands= Rascal Flatts, Zac Brown Band, Gloriana, Superchick, Relient K, Casting Crowns, The Fray, Jump 5, Time of Favor, Daughtry, S Club 7, Barlow Girl, and Harry & the Potters (mostly their lyrics.)

I call my all-time favorite animated princesses as Belle, Ariel, Aurora, Anastasia, and Jasmine.

Top three real royalty are Queen Elizabeth I, Marie Antoinette, and Mary, Queen of Scots.

I LOVE Mike 'N Ikes! Seriously, I feel a good movie is not a good movie without a box of this delicious, fruit-flavored candy sitting next to the soda (or, in an awesome case, the Icee.) Sour Patch Kids, Twix (aka: CHOCOLATE!), Gobstoppers, and Cow Tails are also yummy.
