Author has written 15 stories for Stargate: SG-1. I am just a tiny bit obsessed with Stargate SG-1. I got sucked into the wonderful world of Stargate in season 7 of the show, and started reading Stargate fan fiction a few months later. It took longer for me to try writing fanfic myself. Most of my stories focus on Daniel Jackson (with a healthy dose of Jack, because I find their friendship hysterical and fascinating). I like team stories, angst, and friendship pieces. In general, I think that all good fiction is character-driven. I will occasionally read a romance, but if I ever write an extremely romantic story, it probably signifies that the world is coming to an end. On a side note - I'm a perfectionist with some obsessive compulsive tendencies, so it takes me forever to finish projects that I'm working on. It's a depressing little fact of life, but that's the way the ball bounces. I tend to experiment in my writing and try new styles as often as I can. Which means that I love constructive criticism because it helps me figure out whether or not my experiments work. October 5, 2008 I still have a tremendous backlog of half finished stories, monstrous WIPs, and random one-shots (some of which I don't even remember writing) that need to be completed and edited. However, with my crazy life, grad school, and a new job, my writing time is sadly lacking. I certainly haven't given up on writing fanfic, I just don't have much time to devote to it right now. "The personages in a tale shall be alive, except in the case of corpses, and always the reader shall be able to tell the corpses from the others." - Mark Twain "Consistency is the last refuge of the unimaginative." - Oscar Wilde "You can't wait for inspiration, you have to go after it with a club." - Jack London | |||||||||
