So instead I'll just explain where my pen name comes from. Emerald. Emeralds remind me of the Emerald City, and the Wizard of Oz in my favorite movie of all time. Now on to Olive. I do not actually like olives, which is sort of strange that I picked them for my pen name now that I think about it. But they hold a special place in my heart for reasons unknown, so, Emerald Olive it is. Also, if the icon I am using is yours, please let me know. I have a truly terrible habit of stealing them. I happened to come across this particular one right after I had finished writing Chapter 3 of Of Life and Lies, and it just happens to bear the chapter title! It also has Dumbledore on it, which is beyond awesome. If it is yours, I love you =). I found this quote on a test once, it has since become my favorite quote about writing: "Most, if not all, human lives are full of fantasy -- passive daydreaming that need not be acted on.
