Welcome to my profile!

This is where you can check (and check again...and again...) for update news on my upcoming parts. Anybody following my work for awhile would probably describe my approach to writing as dedicated slowness- dedicated being (hopefully!) the redeeming word here. I am not the kind of writer who is going to post dreaded 'fake update chapters' with author's notes of doom explaining how I just can't go on writing 'so and so fic'. If a part is going to take me awhile- you'll know here, and that's it. 'Hiatus' is another word I don't toss around. I plan to finish every fic I start- even if I'm one-hundred by then. And while we've established I can be a terribly slow updater, I promise I'm not trying to intentionally torture you with cliffhangers and then make you wait six months- it's just I'm balancing what I love to do (this) with work, school, and family. Hopefully my average part length makes up for all the time I leave you hanging (usually around 10,000 words)! Other little tidbits on me are that I've been reading here seven years, and writing here for four, though I wrote my first fic (a JAG one-shot if you must know...) at twelve. I've never used a beta in all these years- I have nothing against them (I probably should have one!), but I'm afraid you would never get a part out of me if my work had to go through additional channels before being posted- so please excuse my mistakes, I regularly replace my work as I catch them! Bottom line: I love to write, I love my fabulous readers, I love reviews- I hope you like what I post!

Just A Glimpse Through The Scrying Glass:Something was wrong. John Mandrake was sure he had gone to bed alone, so why did he feel a warm body next to him? Something bright shown against his closed eyelids- sunlight? But how? He kept his bedroom curtains closed. And worst of all- there was this sound- and the nearer it got the more it could not be mistaken. Why was there the pitter-patter of little feet running up and down his hall?

Note: I WILL BE UPDATING...just not right now as I'm completely absorbed by my current Ghost Hunt fic.
