I would like to announce that my fic: The Hanyou's Betrayal and Kagome's Broken Heart is currently on hiatus. Unfortunately I'm much too busy to update it and as I've actually quite forgotten where the story ends, for the moment I'm kind of lost as to how to continue. I WILL finish it one day, but not for a while I don't think. Thank you for bearing with me and I apologize !

A little about me, I dislike labels (everyone's different and has combinations of different groups in them, one can never truly categorize a person) but if I were to have one I'd be a combination of hipster and anarchist. Injustice and the strong taking advantage of the weak is something I absolutely cannot tolerate (although they do make important topics to write about sometimes) and make me want to go out and kick some ass, but at the same time I'm more of a lover than a fighter. I believe in peace and love and enjoying life, doing what makes you happy, unless of course what makes you happy is something that makes other people extremely unhappy (depending on the case).

I believe that everyone has the right to live their life the way they want. I find that the government has much too much control over all of our lives. If I'm honest I'm a bit intimidated by what the future is going to hold for us and our descendants. The way things are going, it doesn't look too good...

That's why I try to concentrate on things that make me happy: old movies, musicals, history, philosophy, sociology, fanfiction, writing, reading, music, nature, friends, family, laughing, having a good time.

I am a true romantic and absolutely love old classics. Romantic books and movies always have me bawling my eyes out, but I cherish them anyway. I'm not sure why, but I don't have much respect for people who refuse to read a book or watch a movie just because it's sad. Maybe it's because I find them narrow minded and think they should broaden their horizons a little.

on the subject of TWILIGHT:

Ah, what can I say? I personally don't find it a very profound series. The characters are flat (though some manage to still be lovable) and I definitely don't think it's the greatest love story every written. Not even close. I was unhappy with the way the story ended in Breaking Dawn (I feel like Stephanie Meyers kind of gave up, was like, well, who can I pair Jake with? Oh! I know!) and I definitely do see the glamorizing of possessive boyfriends and being a drama queen (coughBellacough).

I started out really liking it, my sister and I read the books before they started getting popular, but after a few years and having reread the series, I definitely see the many imperfections and this has affected the way I perceive the series. I think it's a fine book if you just feel like reading something light (never mind that I bawled when Bella and Jacob split at the end of Eclipse the first time I read it) but it's far from being the best love story and it's definitely not as idealistic as many see it as so. It's an easy book, it's not rich in context, it's a classic Mary-Sue case. That's my opinion.

The Host by Stephanie Meyers, however, is excellent :)
