Author has written 11 stories for Criminal Minds. I am Deanne Stevenson: I was always told that my family was distantly related to author, Robert Louis Stevenson. I use his last name in the hope that some of his writing talent is in my bloodline. I have NJ sand in my shoes, and have always lived here. Dispite all the Jersey jokes, I like NJ. I am forty years old. I am a medical secretary. I write because I enjoy escaping into my own fantasies. My favorite TV shows are " Criminal Minds," "Mike and Molly," and the new "Hawaii Five-0." I rarely go to the movies, but my favorite films are "Resurrection," the old version with Ellen Burstyn, "The Illusionist" and "Desperado," because Antonio Banderas was sooo hot back then. I read mostly non-fiction books on metaphysical topics. I am a Shemar Moore fan. In a perfect world, I am with him. Since that's not happening, I like writing about his Derek Morgan, CM character, and I work on a website devoted to him. I am a news junkie. I have Fox News or other cable news on most of the time at home and work. I figure "the end" is coming soon and I don't want to miss it. I am a sarcastic, cynical, pragmatist. I am getting worse as I get older. I love music by Metallica, and the German band, Rammstein. Their music reflects my inner rage.
