Hobey-Ho World This Is Me!!

Memo, 10/11/09- Heya guys!! How cool is the new MR Manga?? I haven't been able to read the whole thing (waaaa) but I have been able to see a few pics but still, argh wanna read it cos it has the preview for Fang in it!! NEED FANG!! Ahem, Anywho. Exams coming up so updates might be a teensy bit slower but still, what can I say?? Not my fault that the school torures us, Anywho, bye.

Hey, my name is Erin, I'm a crazy ( i mean totally round the bend) and friendly person who loves to chat to other people who enoy the same interests as myself!! I have quite a few interests, some of which are quite odd, but I enjoy talk to many types of people who, of course, have to be kind! I've met a lot of people on here and would love to make some more friends! I love to read and write so basically i love this site so much!!

I am a fan of many different things but my current, I suppose you could call them 'obsessions', are: Gundam SEED/Destiny, Death Note, Maximum Ride, Inheritance Cycle, Avatar, Bakugan New Vestroia and several others. I have a lot of fanfics that need finishing. I'm really bad at finishing things. hmmmm

I also now have a FictionPress account and you can visit it here though I havn't got any stories up yet but I'll alert you when I do. I'm planning on putting up some of my more minor stories but I will not be putting my book on there, no matter what, savvy?

Upcoming Stories

Alrightio, I have some ideas for some stories but to be perfectly honest, I really wanna work on my book series, I have yet to send it to an agent but I'm working on that. I have some Death Note story ideas and some other stories that need putting up here but for now I'm just going to let you know that I am a busy little bee working on many different stories, I promise. But for now, a preview of my version of MR 6 - Fang.

Fang:

I frowned.

“Dylan?” Fang asked, his voice confused. I looked at him and he looked at me and shrugged. Dr Mannis smiled.

“Dylan is my own Avian-human,” he explained. “I designed him for you Max. When I collaborated with Dr Batchelder I decided that you could not be on your own. Dylan is your perfect other half Max. He is designed to be the most perfect partner you could ever hope for.”

Silence greeted Dr Mannis’s words. Fang dropped my hand and took a step towards the scientist but I grabbed his hand.

“But Fang is Max’s boyfriend,” Nudge finally stated. “He’s Max’s perfect partner.” Fang stopped and looked back at Nudge, a grateful look in his eyes. I squeezed Fang’s hand but it was simply a reflex. My mind was reeling.

Voice, now would be a good time for you to jump in. The Voice had said Fang was my soul mate so how could someone else be my perfect partner.

Just then a boy joined us. He looked to be maybe a bit younger than Iggy but still around my age. He was… dare I say this word in reference to someone who was not Fang, beautiful. I blinked and tried to regain my train of thought.

Dylan had floppy chestnut hair that was arranged in perfect waves over his head and his eyes were a clear, beautiful cerulean with hints of green in them. He smiled at me and his whole face seemed to smile. It was very pleasant.

But no, he wasn’t Fang. Stop looking Max.

Max?

Voice? Thankyou, advice please.

Science and soul are two very different things. That was it. The Voice had left another cryptic message. It wasn’t helpful and it only made me mad.

“Hi Max,” Dylan said. I blinked. Even his voice was beautiful.

“Hi,” I replied stiffly. Fang’s hand was so tight around mine that I thought me might break my bones. His whole body was stiff and he was shaking with unimaginable rage. His dark eyes were trained onto Dylan who only had eyes for me.

He walked over to me, confidence in his walk and took my hand and kissed it gently.

“You’re even more beautiful than I was led to believe,” he stated charmingly. “And I-“ Dylan was prevented from saying any more by a fist slamming into his face with amazing speed. Dylan went flying across the room and we all gasped and I jumped back and ushered the others away slightly as Fang pounced at Dylan.

Dr Mannis was staring at the two boys, seemingly unable to form coherent words as Fang threw another punch at Dylan. This time he was ready however and ducked slightly. Good god, he was fast. Dylan slid down and tried to sweep Fang’s legs out from under him. Fang jumped over him and turned around, landing a hard kick in Dylan’s side.

“Stop this now!” Dr Mannis shouted, astounded. I blinked as Dylan scrambled to his feet and shifted to stand opposite Fang.

They circled each other, both using sure, confident movements. Then Dylan feinted and struck Fang, his fist landing on Fang’s jaw. Fang stumbled back and then swung around, a hook kick landing on Dylan’s shoulder. Dylan used the momentum he gained from Fang’s kick and then landed his own spinning kick on Fang’s head. They jumped at each other but I finally regained my composure and realised that I should stop them.

“Fang!” I shouted and jumped towards them.

“Max!” Gazzy shouted, shocked.

I grabbed Fang’s arm and pulled on him. He moved back and Dylan tried to move to him again but I was furious that there was a cut on Fang’s eyebrow and this guy had put it there, so I punched him… in the gut.

Dylan’s breath rushed out of him and he looked at me in surprise.

“You hit hard,” he gasped.

“You hit Fang,” I growled.

“He started it!” Dylan seemed to be regaining his breath and he straightened up. Fang growled.

“You-“

“Both of you shut up!” I shouted.

Dr Mannis shook his head and came over.

“Uh, Dylan,” he stated. “Why don’t you go back to your room? Why don’t all of you go back to your rooms?”

“Fine,” Fang stated, glaring at Dylan.

“Of course,” Dylan replied, glaring back at Fang. Fang’s gaze darkened and Dylan shivered and took a step back. I felt a little proud. Nobody was scarier than Fang… especially when it came to me. I felt a little flutter in my stomach. Fang must love me. I felt warm and comforted by that thought.

I motioned to the others and took Fang’s hand and pulled him along with us. I sent the others to their own rooms or each others if they wanted but I wanted to fix Fang up and chastise him by myself. I took him into my room and made him sit on my bed while I went into my bathroom and grabbed a facial washer to clean his cut.

“Max?” Fang said as I returned.

“What?” I replied as I went to his side. I sat beside him and gently cleaned the blood from the split above his left eye.

“I’m sorry,” Fang murmured. “I shouldn’t have done that but I was just-“

“It’s alright,” I replied and smiled. “If you hadn’t, I’d be worried that you didn’t care about my honour or your position as my boyfriend.” Fang chuckled in that way that gave me butterflies and made my knees go weak and I was glad I wasn’t standing.

“But I… I shouldn’t have done that. But that guy… who does he think he is if he can just come in here and try and take you away from me?” Fang flushed as he usually did when he made some statement as to how much he cared about me. “How could that doctor think that he could just make someone and expect you to love them? I mean… he’s supposed to be your perfect match and all but I just-“ I dropped the washer into my lap and pressed a finger to Fang’s lips to make him stop talking. He looked at me, his eyes unreadable.

I still felt nervous doing and saying things that made me emotionally vulnerable but I had to get used to them if I wanted to keep Fang.

“Stop worrying,” I whispered. “I wouldn’t care if Dylan was Orlando Bloom’s exact double, I would never be able to love him because there is only one person in this world that I love and could ever love as much as I do. Fang, I love you. Forget about genetically engineered people who are designed to be perfect for me. You are perfect for me without even trying.”

Fang stared at me, his eyes shining with happiness. He took my hand away from his mouth so that he could speak.

“I love you too, Max,” he whispered and then I realised that this was the first time we’d ever said it to each other. I blushed and Fang wrapped his arms around my waist.

“I’d never leave you,” I promised and then Fang kissed me and I was lost in the small world of happiness that came with Fang’s embrace.
