Anywho... who is me?

Name: Avadedra Hetarra, or AVA for short. (no, not my real name. d'uh XD )
Age: 24 going on 15 :p

I'm an avid reader and writer. I've been writing short stories since I was about 12 or 13 years old. A lot of the time, though, the urges come and go with my mood, so there's no telling what I'll get into.

Right now, I'm in this HUGE JRock phase (yes, we old people do that too), and I'm MADLY in love with the movie Moon Child, and not just because Gackt and Hyde are in it. That's just an added bonus. So, because of this, most of what I post here will be Moon Child based. So far, no one seems to mind.

In August, I'll be relocating myself again. Going back south to one of the states I grew up in. Hopefully, it'll turn out for the best. We'll wait and see, ne?

I realize that I'm not up to the standard of many of the writers here, but you know, that's okay with me. He he. I write because it's a stress reliever, a personal oasis of sorts. It's my escape from the mundane reality I live in during the day. Ask Megami. I write, I get lost. I share my writing with others because I want to share that oasis. To invite in those weary of the constraints of the world and give them an avenue down which to travel for a while. It is my hope that my imagery and attempt at vivid descriptions will draw the reader into the world of my creating so that they may draw entertainment and enjoyment from what they find. Sounds conceited, huh? Well, the logic in it makes some bit of sense, if you try. :)

Currently working on some strange fanficcery that my Gakuhai Muse beats me over the head with on a daily basis. Sadistic wench. Hee hee hee...

Update!! OMG! (March 3, 2009)

My JRock/Moon Child writings need a rest. x( I've been working on one JRock series since 2007, so I think that's a clue. Same with the "Lessons" trilogy. -cry-

So... in homage to talinsquall (( http://www.fanfiction.net/u/1721205/ my Methusela) Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children TWICE tonight, I've decided to try my hand in a new area. Final Fantasy VII, mostly. I love my Emo!Cloud, and my Vampire!Vincent. :) And I don't mind a little Reno-on-the-side action from time-to-time.

In Progress:

"Home" - Cloud reflects on things in the moments between the explosion (Yazoo and Loz attack) and the events in the pool (end of the movie).

"Only in 1,000 Ways" - Vincent/Cloud : Cloud is having nightmares about Sephiroth and Jenova. Vincent tries to help, but often times to no avail. He rallies Cloud's "family" to his aid.
--Prologue: We found that Cloud and Vincent share a "relationship" of sorts and now live together. Cloud seems to be suffering from strange and terrifying nightmares that are essentially causing him to shut Vincent out. Finally, Cloud admits the truth: the nightmares are about Sephiroth.
--Ch. 1: We found that Reno was having rough times with his life, and seemed to need someone to talk to. Vincent, after thinking on the life he and Cloud share, including all the things they have in common, decides to approach Tifa for help.
--Ch. 2: Cloud returns to the Buster Sword to confer with the past and ends up having an interesting conversation with Reno. Upon their return to Edge, Cloud is attacked.
--Ch. 3: When last we met, Cloud was lying unconcious after being attacked by a mysterious assailant using Lightning Materia. Vincent traveled to the Shinra HQ to talk to Reeve, who shared some information with Vincent that could prove devastating...
