Author has written 14 stories for Animorphs, Road Rovers, Spider-Man, All Dogs go to Heaven, Dragons in Our Midst, Treasure Island, Balto, Sly Cooper, and Bolt. Hi. I'm Omnitrix 12 (but you knew that). I have only posted a few fanfics, but you can expect more because I love to write. I have possible stories planned for Disney, Balto, Animorphs, Pokemon, Stuart Little, and Road Rovers. Hope you like 'em once they're up. I am also a fan of The Chronicles of Narnia, Danny Phantom, Spy Kids, and All Dogs Go to Heaven (both the movies and the TV show). Just a little info about me (none of these lists are exhaustive): I like Christian stories, clean romance, and comedy. I try to avoid dirty stuff because it dishonors God and the human body. Also because I want to be a children's author, so I'm trying to keep my head clean. I dislike good guys who behave like bad guys (Harry Potter is a case in point), any story with deviant romance, and I can't stand ones with couples cheating on each other. I also oppose paganistic spiritual content. And... well, let's just say I'm not someone you want to talk Twilight with. Unless you hate it. I am currently waiting to hear back from a magazine about a short story I sent them. Prayers are definitely appreciated. Jesus had no servants, yet they called him Master... He had no degree, yet they called him Teacher... He had no medicine, yet they called him Healer... He had no army, yet kings feared him... He won no military battles, yet he conquered the World... He committed no crime, yet they crucified Him... He was buried in a tomb, yet He lives today Feel honoured to serve such a leader who loves us... If you believe in God and Jesus Christ his Son then copy and paste this in your profile If you ignore him, in the Holy Bible, Jesus says... " If you deny me before man, I will deny you before my Father in Heaven..." Hobbies, Interests, and Skills: I collect a few things, including books (I love to read), swords and knives (you read me right), art, and Bakugan. The last I blame my little brother for; his love of the game kind of rubbed off on me. I also have some skill in woodworking and landscaping, an interest in professional writing, and I like to design things. I'm very much into dragons. Games: Chess (when I can find an opponent), Zoo Tycoon, Farmville, Age of Empires, and Bakugan. Recently developed a passing interest in Kingdom Hearts. Favorite Authors: Bryan Davis, C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkein, Ted Dekker, and many more. Education: I graduated from the Word of Life Bible Institute, and am holding off on further studies until I manage to pay off my existing loans. I have been advised to pursue a degree in journalism, and I may minor in the culinary arts or something pertaining to construction/home repair. Current Endeavors: Various stories, including a possible book about the Underground Railroad. Movies, Books, and Shows I Enjoy: Balto: I liked the story years before they even had a movie, let alone three. Admittedly, the story is about as true to the facts as Barack Obama's claims of progress, but it's enjoyable in its own right and doesn't have an insidious agenda. Besides, I always like to root for a noble-hearted underdog. As for the sequels, it's true they lack some things when measured up against the original. But then, half the sequel-slammers I've met would rather have seen Jenna choose Steele anyway, so who cares what they say? In and of themselves, the sequels do have their good points. The shamanism in Wolf Quest and Stella in Wings of Change are not among them. All Dogs Go to Heaven: The original's a classic, the sequel is fun, and they as well as the series, while not at all maintaining a consistent storyline, are enjoyable. I find the second movie more entertaining to watch than the first, and have a hard time understanding people who make a big fuss because it's not like the original. As for the series, granted the storyline is out of whack. But the episodes do have some fairly engaging plots and a good lesson here and there. Road Rovers: I grew up watching the show, and the characters are fun to write about. 'Nuff said. Wishbone: It's too bad the show's not on anymore, because we really do need to encourage kids to take an interest in classical literature and older things in general. Besides, as you may have guessed, I'm a dog person. Spider-Man: I've always had a thing for climbing; rocks, trees, even the house I grew up in. So I find it pretty easy to connect with Spider-man. Then there's his strength, agility, spider-sense, and webs, all of which have their handy little uses. Most of all, there's the fact that he always keeps trying no matter the odds, always following his motto: With great power comes great responsibility. Dragons in our Midst and Oracles of Fire: I still remember when I first saw Raising Dragons in the book store. Between it being about dragons and being in a Christian bookstore, it had my attention at once. And thanks to Bryan Davis' literary genius for combining timeless truths, ancient legends, and contemporary characters, he's kept it from that day to this. The Chronicles of Narnia: Another world that could be entered just around the next corner or just through that door on the left. Magical creatures and ancient prophecies. And the story of God's love for mankind as it would play out in such a world. Epic win. Bloodhounds, Inc.: What do you get when you combine a town full of mysteries, two kids determined to solve them (plus a dog with a nose for trouble), Biblical values, and an assortment of disaster-prone gadgets? You get Bloodhounds, Incorporated, the funniest mystery series since Scooby Doo. Adventures in Odyssey: John Avery Whittaker, retired teacher and now owner and manager of Whit's End, teaches kids and families alike about the power of God's truth in our world in any and every situation. From selling ice cream and teaching Sunday school to solving crimes and stopping syndicates bent on world domination, Adventures in Odyssey is a radio series like no other. Exciting stories, solid teaching, and fun moments just about anyone can enjoy. Spy Kids: Family movies, awesome gadgets, and exciting action. The world's greatest secret agents... fun-sized. It's like James Bond for all ages. Animorphs: What if you had the power to turn into any animal you could touch? What if you had to use that power, because a race of evil aliens were threatening to enslave every human being on the face of the earth? Sounds like my idea of fun. Danny Phantom: The son of the world's two greatest ghost hunters accidentally gives himself ghost powers and then has to use them to fight all kinds of other-dimensional beings invading his town and our world. As a Christian, I'm leery of ghosts in the standard sense (as opposed to the science fictionalized variety in the show). As a guy who's always forgetting his keys, on the other hand, I'm easily fascinated by anyone who can walk through walls. And as a guy who has been caught going out on the roof since age five, flight has its appeals as well. Pokemon: Yeah, it's juvenile sometimes. It's still fun. Hannah Barbera's Stories From the Bible: While excavating some ancient ruins, two young archeologists, Derrick and Margo, and their nomad friend, Moki, fall into a whirlpool of sand and discover a chamber filled with ancient relics. And, at the far end, a door which will lead them to the greatest adventure of their lives: the Bible! Relationships I'll just save you a list and tell it plain and simple. If a relationship is canon, I usually support it. I don't support same-sex romances, ones with a significant age gap, sibling romances, or ones where the individuals involved are of different species (I'm a bit flexible on that last one depending on the context of the story and just how different the species are; e.g. I'm OK with a horse and a zebra but generally not with a cat and a dog). I definitely don't support relationships where one party is a psychopath or an egomaniac, or where one of them wants to kill the other's alter-ego. My Characters: (Not exhaustive) Rex: (Toby Series) Being a bloodhound in Nome, Alaska is hard. Being the cheif of the town's canine police is even harder. But when the strays around Nome begin displaying some unusual and violent behavior, he'll have to find out what's happening and how to stop it. Whether he wins or loses, Nome will never be the same again. And with his newly-forged and fast-growing friendship to one of the local dogs, neither will his life. Look for Toby: The Beginning. Terry: (Toby Series) When her mate dies in a terrible accident, Terry flees from all reminders of her life with him... and straight into the jaws of a crisis of deadly proportions. Safety appears in the form of a kindly police dog, but can even he save her from the fires to come, or from the pain of losing the one she loved most in the world? Look for Toby: The Beginning. Toby: (Toby Series) You know those kids who end up in the hospital because they tried flying out the window with towels around their necks? If Superman were Balto, Toby would be one of those kids. And he'd have his own reserved room in the hospital, with bars on the window. It's not like he's a bad pup, he just has a terminal case of hero worship and a half-bloodhound nose for getting into trouble. Look for Toby: The Beginning. Luna: (Toby Series) Toby's best friend, a girl pup whose breed is even more mixed than she knows. She finds some secret irony in Toby's fascination with Balto, but that's another story. Look for Toby Part One: Hero Worship. Noah: (Pokemon) Although he wants to be a pastor like his father, Noah first wants to travel around as a Pokemon trainer to see the world God has created. With a fire in his heart, a Bible in one hand, and a Pokeball in the other, he's confident enough to take on any challenge. Look for Pokemon: By the Book. Doug: (Pokemon) An amateur expert in all things underground, Douglas Owens was forced into a maturity beyond his years by the mysterious disappearance of his father on a spelunking expedition in a restricted cave. Now at the age of ten, he seeks to defeat the Pokemon League, gain the right to enter the cave, and find out the truth about his father... or die trying. John Parker: (Animorphs) All John wanted was to make a difference in the world. And when he gets enslaved by the Yeerks, he realizes his cage could be the perfect podium to reach others with the hope the whole world needs. Only by faith and nerves of steel can he ever hope to win The Silent War. Favorite Dialogue and Quotes: Other people may not think much of me, but Jesus says I'm to die for. Anonymous Danny: What do you want, Skulker? Bolt: Don't move! If I stare at the lock really hard, it'll burst into flames and melt. Will Stronghold: If life were to suddenly get fair, I doubt it would happen in high school. Falcon: What would you be without me? Doctor Octopus:Do you EVER SHUT UP?!?!?! Peter Parker: (over the phone to Norman Osborne) I don't know what to say. (thinking) Except, "Sorry Norm, you give me the creeps." Fanfics In Progress: White Legend: Another story from Balto Source. Find out how a wolf met a dog, and how a hero and a legend was born. Not like Balto Source, this is the new and improved tale like you never imagined. In Progress Toby Part Two: Steele's Revenge Steele is back, and he knows the secret Luna's family has been hiding. So when Taya goes missing, it's up to Copper, Luna, and Toby to save her. But even they can't save her from the demons of her past. In Progress Redemption You've read The Silent War. Now find out what came before, and after, as one girl's blind wanderings lead her into a trap, and a guiding light reveals her one hope of survival in the closest the world has yet come to a living Hell. Post Pending Paw-grim's Progress When Joe finds a strange little book and starts thinking some strange things, everything gets, well, kind of strange. Wishbone is reminded of a classic story about another man whose life-changing journey began with what he read in a book. Post Pending Pokemon: By the Book Ash, Misty, and Brock encounter a trainer named Noah with some training techniques that prove extremely unusual and extremely effective. Is he just a brilliant strategist, or is there something more to his methods? And what's up with that book he's always carrying around? Non-canon. Post Pending ...And Sin No More Sandman battling terrorists? Molten Man saving Spider-Man's life? The Vulture running his own company to produce flight harnesses? What the heck is going on here? And what does it have to do with that elusive man who's been making the rounds? Post Pending Pokemon: Dreamchasers My own version of how the Pokemon games should be, told in story form. Douglas Owens, a young fanatic of all things underground, takes on the League Challenge in order to unearth the truth of his father's four-year disappearance in a place only the greatest dare to go. New Gyms, new battle techniques, quite possibly a new region, and a world of new trainers and styles. Gaming details chapter by chapter. Post Pending Anything else you want to know, just ask! :) | |||||||
