Author has written 24 stories for Harry Potter, Book X-overs, Marching Band, Alex Rider, and Kingdom Hearts. We've forgotten how to read, we've forgotten how to believe. Momento Mori-The Academy Hi. Here's the oblicatory about me: I love hugs, stealing my best friend's hoodie/jazz band music/iPod/trombone and hiding them in randomly obvious places he can't find, driving, the smell of my shampoo and of old/brand new books, Europe, drumline, the shuffle feature on my iPod, my niece, Potter babies, my boys and a lot of other ish. I play trumpet, baritone and percussion, have a not-so-secret desire to tackle Daniel Radcliffe, would like to punch the creator of Secret Life of the American Teenager (I mean, really. Who marches French Horn?!), am a liberal feminist and will defend my ideals and values to the death. PS I like to write. Current events in the life of singin' (updated 08/18/09) 7/19/09--I love summer. I really really do. Between college visits, AP homework, babysitting, and a graduation project class, I haven't been writing too much. I'm going to be done class tomorrow, leaving me the rest of the summer to finish DYMM. I'm going to be writing a lot. I say that all the time, but this time I totally mean it. 8/18/09--Blah I feel like I haven't even had a summer, I've spent it studying. Band camp is now, so hopefully things will lighten up eventually and I'll get to write more. DYMM is done, and I've slowly been editing it. And I feel old. Silly senior year. Silly silly silly. Fanfic info...updated 2/27/09 When I write, I write for many different catagories and in many different genres. Whatever strikes my fancy, I will start writing. Once I start writing, I normally plan the whole thing out. I know exactly what is going to happen in my stories at all times. Right now--I feel like writing angst. I don't know why but I've always loved it. I'm looking forward to time to write more angsty HP stuff. I only favoritize stories I like and think are excellent (both in style and writing ability), so if you want to read some great stories from many different sections, go there! I'd like to do some writing for Wicked, Twilight, Avatar: The Last Airbender...and maybe perhaps a little House or some Sweeny Todd. I'd love to write more KH too, but I want to finish No Other Choice first. And that is going to take me forever... Thoughts on Original Stories-- There's a lovely site for them called FictionPress. Now of course, original MARCHING BAND stories can go in the MARCHING BAND catagory and orginial SCREENPLAYS can go in SCREENPLAYS. Marching band does not equal MCR's The Black Parade. Really, it just doesn't. Thoughts on Reviews and Reviewing-- I love reviews. Who doesn't? They always make me feel better when I open my inbox and see one. I've made it my goal this year to review a lot--basically, anything I enjoy will get a review. I'll also try to help out if I see some errors or anything. I don't mean to pick you apart; I just enjoy editing. Leaving constructive critisism is the best thing you can do for an author. It helps us find out what our weak points are so we can fix them for later chapters. That being said, don't flame. Cursing out someone because you don't like the plot or because of poor grammar/spelling is just plain mean. If you don't have anything nice... I also make it a point to send a reply to the people I review, thanking them for reading and reviewing. It's nice to kinda know the people who are taking the time to read my work. I drop names at the begining of my chapters so people can see who is reviewing me and check out thier stories. Thoughts on Shipping-- I love my pairings. I really do. But I will read well written stories in any pairing. That includes slash! I ship Harry/Ginny, Ron/Hermione, Neville/Luna, James/Lily (Harry Potter) Sora/Kairi, Roxas/Namine (Kingdom Hearts) Aang/Katara, Zuko/Katara, Sokka/Suki (Avatar) Thoughts on Canon-- Oh boy. Giant can of worms. I'm a bit of a canon junkie. I don't normally like stories that removed the characters from the settings of the book, if they take place during a book. After a series is over, canon is difficult to come by. I do like 2nd Gen fics, but I don't read them often. Thoughts on Mary Sue-- Really?
