My name is Ida. I know most people never read these, but I want to tell you a bit about myself anyway.

I love good writing. I love a good story. A good story, whether it be a book, a graphic novel, a play, or a movie, is a thing to be treasured. I love drama, I love romance, but only when it's well written. I love the dramatacism and polar extremes of well-done superhero comic books and graphic novels, where a picture really is worth a thousand words. The world is a story, and there has never been a story told that wasn't true, even if it isn't true in this universe. That, incidentally, is my own personal home-made religion - a bit unusual, I know, but it fits me.

I love music. I love listening to it and doing nothing else, stretched out on a wood floor in the dark, a pair of earbuds in my ears, with the volume just a little too loud. I dance along the harmonies and melodies, the music sustains me, thinks thoughts in my head. Images, scenes... the personality of the music. There is nothing else. It is bliss. Listening to Danny Elfman, the film music composer, is especially nice. It's so intricate, you can get lost in it.
