What I can tell you is that I am a typical teenage girl barely out of 11th grade and born with an above-average interest in reading and writing. Films and manga also fascinate me, which only adds to my nerd image. I even have the severe nearsightedness and glasses in real life to mark myself as a proud one.

My tastes in insert form of media here tend toward the quirky and esoteric. Have you ever read the book Something Wicked This Way Comes? Or even heard of the film Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind? No? You've probably guessed that my favorites are not exactly mainstream. Even my current anime/manga obsession, Gravitation (see favorite stories list for some good fics), is not as well-known as, say, Bleach or Naruto.

Why don't I have any stories posted here? First, I'm more of a reader than a writer. Second, my work in progress is turning out to be longer than I anticipated (isn't that true for almost all stories?). Since one of my pet peeves is finding an absolutely brilliant and fabulous work that the author most likely will never finish (;_;), I want to wait until I have at least the rough draft for the entire story to confirm that I will finish the work and not become a hypocrite.
