I think I first got into fan fiction with 'Pride and Prejudice' (one of my favorite books, I read quite a lot) after reading the book and seeing the 1995 BBC version. I read P&P fiction obsessively, though not on fan fiction.net, and will admit that at first I thought the concept itself of fan fiction silly and stupid. Gradually though I grew to really really like it, and I found myself writing sporadically just to clear the little plot bunnies in my head. I also found that I had always been enacting in my mind such scenarios and stories with other shows and books since childhood. I loved to come up with what I believed would or should like to see happen. It was also a creative and therapeutive outlet to get through some really hard times.

As you can see I'm new to fanfiction.net, and within the last two years have become obsessed with the absolutely amazing show Avatar: the Last Airbender. Although I love most everything about the show I'm most specifically in love with the pairing of Katara and Prince Zuko or as most people call it-Zutara. I'm also an artist (mostly a painter) and in time will post things on deviantart. So just as a heads up you'll see lots of Avatar stories, mainly Zutara, from me. Maybe in the future I'll branch out. Who knows?

Um how much did the finale suck? Not just from a zutarian standpoint either...I didn't really like it..very rushed, choppy, things didn't add up. (okay, okay there still were some pretty awesome parts, I'm just depressed) I'm feeling really really disappointed and lost right now. I just wanted to see much more than I did in Season 3, and have a fitting ending for such an amazing show...sigh This site is therapy though, now I'm just gonna read fanfic obsessively and wait for the next season of Avatar!!
