Hello everyone! My "name" is Ryan Brooklyn and guess I should say a few things about myself. (For recent updates, scroll down to the end of the bio) First and foremost I am a Christian. God is number one in my life and will always be that way. Don't worry about me forcing my veiws on anyone. I'm not like that. I just thought you should know. I have been homeschooled my whole life and I'm at the end of my senior year of High School. I've always loved to write. When I was little I would fold construction paper in half and scribble what words I knew to make up a story or I would have my mom write it for me. I've been reading since I was four years old and a large part of my life is made up of books. Maybe I love to read because I love to write or I love to write because I love to read. I don't know. All I know is that I love them both and could not imagine life without them. Just so you know I will never ever write slash. Romantic stories (since I am a romantic :-p) but when I do, it will never be anything higher than a light PG-13 rating. If you like smut, better leave now. Random facts about me: I love the color blue in any shade. I'm not sure why, I just do. :shrugs: I currently live in a bedroom the size of a high security prison cell. 8 1/2ft x 10 1/2ft. My dad says that if ever I land in jail, I will feel right at home. Whatever. :rolls eyes: I have never broken the law my entire life. Not that I've had much opportunity but you know what I mean. My favorite foods are pepperoni pizza and chicken fajitas. My favorite Superhero is Hiro Nakamura (;P), followed closely by Batman and Spiderman and the X-Men. My favorite TV shows are Smallville, MONK, Stargate SG-1, 24, Heroes, and LOST, Stargate Atlantis, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Merlin, Doctor Who, and Psych. My favorite X-Men (from the movies) are Iceman (Bobby Drake) and ShadowCat (Kitty Pryde). Some of my favorite Christian Music Artists are (in no particular order): Krystal Meyers, Superchick, Chris Tomlin, Mark Scholtz, BarlowGirl, some ZOEgirl, tobyMac, Britt Nicole, Steven Curtis Chapman, Michael W. Smith, Reliant K, Skillet, Superchick, and others (when I remember them I'll post them). Favorite soundtracks are (again in no particular order): The Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Peter Pan, The Day After Tomorrow, Les Miserables, The Neverending Story, Newsies, The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl, Pirates of the Carribean: Curse of the Black Pearl, Priates of the Carribean: Dead Man's Chest ("Davey Jones" rocks!), Phantom of the Opera, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, A Little Princess, A Series of Unfortunate Events, Aida, Harry Potter, Fiddler on the Roof, Oliver!, Batman Begins, Empire of the Sun, and more. Well, that's really all I can think of at the moment. I'll probably update later. Now, just so you know I find it hard sometimes to update my writings. Either I forget or lack inspiration. Please bear with me for I am quite proud of my stories. A few of them I had written a few years ago so they might not be very good and I welcome comments and constructive critisim. :-) I hope you enjoy my little corner of this site.
