| Venusian Seraph |
Author has written 10 stories for Digimon, and Fairy Tales. Hi! I'm the Oblivious Seraph, better known as just plain Seraph! What is Seraph up to these days? Novels: Glass Rose. I am actually still working on it! I'm somewhere around chapter 14 or 15. It's much better, but still difficult and extremely complex. It's looking like it's going to be a rather lengthy piece of literature though. Everything else is on pause. Except Mira, Mira. Which is awaiting updates as soon as Clar reviews. hint, hint Music: Oh, goodness. Anything for my music theory class. So Impressionist music, jazz, mainly movie scores, and stuff. Speaking of The Oblivious Seraph, who is The Oblivious Seraph? You all know me as Peter of course! I'm that quirky guy who writes fairytales and music and does any ridiculous number of things. No, there's nothing wrong with me, I'm just eccentric! I have a habit of switching from superfluously elegant to giddy and happy-go-lucky in minutes. I adore deep psychological literature and asking deep questions. I pretty much excel at anything artsy, except dance. But dance is still fun! I love reading (You know, some people would go, Well of course, but there is actually a large population of delinquent authors who only write for the sake of attention. They don't really even like reading and writing), love singing (Baritone here!), love my friends (I know we all love our friends, but these guys (and girls) are incredibly wonderful and caring and they are such a blessing to everyone they meet. I don't just love them because they're my friends.), love making side notes (I know you're probably thinking duh, but- oh sorry there I go again), love Japanese and Italian food, and I love, love, love the Lord (Yes, I am one of those crazy Christian people.). There's plenty more to tell about me, but I think this is enough. About The Glass Rose: So, you're probably wondering when I'm going to update, right? Since it's been literally years since I last did? My guess is in a year or two. I'm currently working on an extensive outline of it to meet problems before I start writing chapters. It's a highly symbolic work and fouses extensively on psyche of the characters involved. Feel free to ask questions! Favorite Movies: Vertigo, The Parent Trap (Hayley Mills version), Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Singn' in the Rain, Lord of the Rings (I'll admit, they're great movies even if I don't care for the books), Sleeping Beauty, The Sound of Music, The King and I, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Dial M for Murder, You've Got Mail, Murder by Death, Seven Brides of Seven Brothers, Gigi, Tea and Symmpathy, North by Northwest, almost everything by Alfred Hitchcock Favorite Books The Great Gatsby, Ella Enchanted, Tender is the Night, Jane Erye, Ethan Frome, The Awakening, Count of Monte Cristo, A Streetcar Named Desire, Others again, too hard to think Music I love Chopin, Debussy, Richard Rodgers, Stephen Sondheim, and Alan Menken! Musicals I am a big musical fan- well, of the older musicals. My favorite musical of all time would have to be The King and I, Gypsy, and The Sound of Music. which do not contain even one forgettable song. Other musicals I love would be Kismet, Man of La Mancha, Wicked, She Loves Me!, Jekyll and Hyde, Kiss Me Kate, Dear World, Bells Are Ringing, Camelot, My Fair Lady, Gypsy, Into the Woods, Mame, Once Upon a Mattress, and The Music Man. There's a few others I like, but that's the main gist. Musicals I hate would have to be Rent, West Side Story (There's a few good songs in there, but a lot of blah ones, too), Les Miz (Just couldn't take it, tried to like it though), Cats, Spring Awakening, mostly anything modern! Why write fairy tales? Aren't they for girls? Well, not really. They're mind puzzles. You have to examine all the elements and ask questions to make sense out of them. Why is Red Riding Hood's cape red? Where are her parents? How come the wolf can talk? How did Sleeping Beauty survive 100 years without eating? Why did Beauty's father tell her she could save him if she went to the beast? What happened to the little mermaid's voice? Where did Snow White's stepmother get her mirror? The list goes on. They're classic stories that have got some 'splainin' to do! | |||||||||
