Hello and welcome to my profile, I'm Umi Pryde, but you can just all me Umi. I go by this name online rather than my real name. I had back surgery for my scoliosis May of 2007, I still suffer from severe chronic pain and it affects my health and mentality greatly. I write whenever I can, usually in journals first. Longer stories will always be written down, in need of typing, rather than a short one chapter story which I may just sit and write up on the computer. MY FANFICTION (Coming Soon) UPDATE NOTICE: April 2013 And I am alive, hard to believe for some of you, I know, but it is true. I am done with school, finally. Now I work at home watching my young newphew and niece while trying to find time to write and cope with my own physical issues. It has not been easy this past year for many different reasons. I get extremely tired watching my baby niece all day long and that has completely revamped the time I spend doing things. I still write, in fact, I have written a lot of new things - including original poems, short stories and a novel in the working I hope to get published in the future. I also want to invite people to go check out my icon collection to use fo the images for stories and offer to create some for anyone who wants one for their story or profile. If you do use them, it would be nice if you gave me credit on your profile, or at least let me know. I have noticed already people using them, and it makes me happy that I can help fans show their love of the same fandom I love. Even if I don't have icons of a certain fandom, I may be able to help.
