If you don't like a certain character/pairing, why get so fired up about it? It's not real. Don't waste your energy hating stuff that doesn't exist, use it to hate real things instead. Like, I dunno, wars? Or maybe racists? Or homophobes? Seems a lot more sensible to me.

On another note: Canon means the collection or list of a given author that is generally accepted as genuine. A cannon is a large, heavy piece of artillery. Please try to remember that.
