Drop me a line to let me know what you think of my work. Those reviews are important. I love the compliments - who doesn't?! - but I need critical feedback, too. No flames, please - they don't help. Not that I've gotten any - everyone is wonderfully polite and supportive. But I want my stories to be rich, and to live, so that I enjoy their creation and all of you can enjoy them too. Rich stories are the ones I like to read, so I'd like to be able to write like that, too. Thanks.

Hey, just a reminder, voting for the UFO awards starts tomorrow at http: // www . dotmoon . net / awards / (take out all the spaces). I have 2 stories graciously nominated by persons unknown (thank you!!) so go check 'em out and if you like them, vote for them!

Go into the Vote 2007 section on the above page and then scroll down to "Rurouni Kenshin" to see the first story - "Passing The Night Stars". You can see I'm up against some very talented competition there. Then keep scrolling down to the "Works in Progress" section to the second story listed (it's a crossover) entitled "Caged". Links are provided for you to pop into the stories and read them.

Even if you decide not to vote for my stories, I'd appreciate a review on what I've done thus far. We authors live for reviews and your honest feedback helps us write better for your enjoyment and our own.

Hey, I got second in the Rurouni Kenshin category in the UFO awards! What a great way to celebrate a year of publishing stories. (Pen is doing a happy-dance) Thanks so much to everyone who voted for me. It really means a lot to know that a bunch of you like what I do. (Pauses to bow very formally, then starts to caper again) Hang with me, there's more on the way. Not fast, but coming along, so keep checking back.

I moved "Double-edged Sword to the Peacemaker pages to see if it would glean any interest there. That means, of course, that I lost the 3 reviews it's gotten so far, which kinda sucks, but ff(dot)net doesn't allow us to crosslist, so there wasn't much else to do. If you saved it as a favorite or listed it for story alert, those links probably aren't valid anymore, but you can re-link it by going to the list below. Sorry about the trouble. It just doesn't seem to be attracting any interest on the RK pages, which I guess isn't much of a surprise because Okita's not exactly a well-known character in RK. Even if you can sort by using him as a main character. The PMK pages don't let you sort based on characters, and that's a bit of a bummer. I'll see how it goes.

Arggghhh! Two weeks of vacation is almost at an end and I have written virtually nothing! I hate writer's block. Why is it that I come up with all kinds of ideas when I don't have time to write them down and no ideas when I do have time? Talk to me, characters! Beats forehead on table...
