Hi, I'm VirgoMaiden. I write whenever I can. Unusual it might be, I prefer to hand write chapters out before typing them. Don't know why, exactly; maybe it's a sense of accomplishment? shrugs So it takes me a bit longer to get chapters up than most.

Some things about me?...hrmm... Well, I guess you could say I love any kind of culture, once I get into it (Anything related to Spain, Japan, and England are my MAIN interests right now), and history is really interesting to me. I try to write by getting 'into' it as much as possible and give some more complex (if not slightly angsty) feelings to the stories, and I hope to improve my writing by having a fan fiction account. Since I usually don't update unless it's a long weekend, break, or a Fri-Sat night, updates will usually be sporadic. My beta, SevenMinutesToMidnight, is so awesome you NEED to check out her profile...NOW! (I have co-written a story with her called The Twilight Alphabet! It was the product of drop-dead boredom in our science class)(Also, The Heroes Alphabet! It was written in our Study Hall)

10/22/09: It's been a few days, but I've posted a new fanfic (FINALLY!) called Escurient. It's in the Labyrinth fandom. Apologies all around that I haven't been updating. At all. School has sucked away my life. And family. It's a fatal combo, really. But fear not! I have not given up! brave pose -VM

9/6/06:If you haven't guessed by now, I'm taking a sort of unofficial hiatus from ff.net. Please don't flame me for my choice; my grades are more important to me at the moment than how I'm going to finish BFtP or AMtHGF. Harsh it may be, it's reality. I may update sporadically, but until I get a better hold on my life will I be able to write more consistently. Thanks for the audience, guys. I can promise you one thing: I WILL NOT be ending my time on ff.net just yet. I've got some strings to tie up. Like AMtHGF, BFtP, Memories, BYSS... When that's over, I'll be one of those cameo authors. - VM

8/7/08: I'm back from a THREE WEEK VACATION. Yes, you did read right; my sudden (and impromptu) absence from FF.net was not without reason. With my return, I bring you... I enjoy reading, writing, drawing, anime/manga, sarcasm, music (most notably Coldplay and Pearl Jam's "Wishlist") good writing, the webcomic "Bite Me!", good spelling, PLOT BUNNIES, getting a kids' menu with crayons, the animated Disney movies, not having my allergies bug the heck outta me, and music. Oh! And shipping! Lots and lots of SHIPPING! (-jumps up and down-)

~Dislikes~

The "normal". People going "manga's stupid," anything overly cliché, REALLY BIG cliff hangers, when my internet fails. Also, bad writing that's just too 'coincidental.', people that don't get the fact that, YES, I like being alone; when I try to clean but make an even bigger mess.

Absence Makes the Heart Grow Fonder--A SanjixNami. After four years of absence, Nami thinks she has gotten over the broken heart Sanji has left her with. But being on the same island as him may bring back old feelings, old challenges, and new foes.

Special Nights--Once in a while, when the crew is asleep, coffee is made and pastries are tasted, and Sanji and Nami will be able to talk openly, without any sort of illusions. Collection of oneshots. SanjixNami.

War -- Hey, even Ozai's Angels need something to occupy their time that's not spent finding the Avatar. (fandom: Avatar: the Last Airbender)

Because You Said So--After the episode "Summer Love" and the drama with Summer. Helga listened to Arnold when he gave that fateful request, but... Why is Arnold so confused with her sudden absence from his life? Mostly, why did she listen to him? Slightly AU, no Confession.

Sapphire Seas, New Beginnings--Sequel to AMtHGF (see above). Three Generation 2 Straw Hats stay at Alabasta - where Vivi and Kohza's children live, not-so-coincidentally - for the summer. Things don't exactly go as planned, either, when romance and a clash of personalities ensue...

Some Mothers--Some mothers see snippets of their children's lives. Lily Potter sees the entire thing, for better or for worse, with her husband James beside her.

Finding My Heart In Your Memories--Post death. Fifty years have passed since Arnold and Helga have last seen each other, and after Arnold dies, it's up to his guardian angel to show him what he missed out on... ArnoldxHelga.

All Reaches Understanding--An Avatar Pre-War fic. This was inspired by Isaia's Himizu story (She's on deviant ART, y'all). Lady Jae Azumaigh is staying at the South Pole while her father supervises the Fire Nation's Army. She meets young Hakku, a fiesty Waterbender who has returned home from the Norther Water Tribe. The two have such differences, such prejudices...Will a friendship (or more?) be able to bloom?

Untitled--Life With Derek. Casey is sick with the flu. Derek helps watch her. One shot (in-progress).

Back in the Day--When Dolores Umbridge is under trial, Professor McGonagall just might have to speak for her, or against her. So, she takes a trip down memory lane, a la Pensieve. (POST DH)

Positively Perfect in Every Way-- Bert reflects on Mary after she leaves the Banks family.
