Author has written 54 stories for Nightmare Before Christmas, Static Shock, Misc. Plays/Musicals, Dragon Ball Z, Crow, Goosebumps, Pokemon, Crow, Yu-Gi-Oh, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Disney, Misc. Books, Lost Boys, Grease, Sky High, Labyrinth, Batman Begins/Dark Knight, Pride and Prejudice, Teen Titans, Picture of Dorian Gray, Shakespeare, Mystic Knights, Batman the Animated Series, Sleepy Hollow, Power Rangers, and Sailor Moon.

My name is based on my two favorite literary movements. Gothic literature (Bronte's Wuthering Heights, Gaskell's "The Old Nurse's Story," Poe's "Pit & The Pendulum", Stoker's Dracula, Wilde's The Picture Of Dorian Gray) is my favorite genre. I also love the Romantics, especially Charlotte Smith's poetry. Therefore I put those two together and added 99, my lucky number to make my pen name.

I am a college student majoring in Psychology and minoring in Theatre and Creative Writing. I someday hope to be a writer, so any advice anyone has to offer is appreciated. I feel that criticism is essential when it comes to writing and I like honest critiques so feel free to be as harsh as you want when reviewing. It won't hurt my feelings if you say something negative about what you read. If you feel something needs improvement, I'd be glad to hear it. It's like when an athlete is training, a coach will make sure to comment on what needs to be improved for said athlete to become better. The same goes for writing. You can't improve the problem if you don't know there is one, so again if you feel that something needs work, don't hesitate to say so. I take everything anyone has to say into consideration when writing another piece, whether it be fanfiction, papers, or original stories.

I will review everything I read. Everyone has their own opinion on how to review. During writing workshops we were instructed to praise the writer on what is working and then give feedback on what needs improvement. That is a style I really like and usually how I will review stories on here. I'm honest, as I would expect people to be with me, so I will give honest reviews on stories.

Everyone has a pet peeve when it comes to writing. The only thing I can think of, and I will mention anytime I see it in a story, is when two or more characters talk in the same paragraph. When a different character speaks that character needs to have his/her own paragraph. I don't know why, but I cringe when I see that.

Music is a big inspiration to me. My favorite genres are industrial, symphonic metal, '80s metal, and showtunes. Some of my favorite artists include: Within Temptation, Neon Synthesis, Leaves' Eyes, Battlelore, Epica, Sonata Arctica, Cruxshadows, Dunwich, Sirenia, Nightwish, Magica, Stephen Sondheim, Midnattsol, Ebony Ark, Imperative Reaction, My Chemical Romance, Nightwish, Kamelot, Corinna Fugate, Battlelore, Minor Threat, Panic! At The Disco, Ayria, etc.

I love musicals (I am a theatre student). Some of my favorites include: Nightmare Before Christmas, Fellowship!, Little Shop of Horrors, Hair, Grease, Grease 2 (I like this one better than the original), Altar Boys, Rent, Hairspray, Cabaret, Beauty and the Beast, My Fair Lady, Sweeney Todd, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Evita, Phantom of the Opera, Footloose, Avenue Q, Cinderella, Fiddler on the Roof, The Lion King, Annie, High School Musical, Into The Woods, Jekyll and Hyde, and many, many more.

Books I love: The Bible (AKA: God's Word or The Manual on how to live), The Picture of Dorian Gray, Wuthering Heights, Pride and Prejudice, Lord of the Rings, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Hamlet, Hangman's Curse, The Importance of Being Earnest, Pit and the Pendulum, Sense and Sensibility, The Withered Arm, Dracula, The Yellow Wallpaper, Their Eyes Were Watching God, The Crying Child, Jane Eyre.

Just a brief something about my stories. I usually rate them a little higher than they need to be, mostly T's when they could fall under K plus, but that is just to be on the safe side. I'm just saying this so there won't be any disappointment. I rarely write anything sexually suggestive and will probably never write any swearing. Most of the stories are rated T because of violence and dark themes.

5/4/07: Sorry about the lack of updates. Lately I've been busy with exams and papers that I haven't had time to update. Fortunately, I now have some time, so I'll try to put up some more up soon.

5/6/07: Hey. There may be a lack of updates for a while. I'll be spending the majority of my time on studying for exams the next couple of days. Also, it is close to time for me to move out of the dorm and go back home. Then I'll be working all summer, so it may be a few months before anything new is added.

8/25/07: There will be plenty of updates shortly now that I have time to write. Thank you to everyone who has reviewed my stories over the summer.

9/14/07: I have writer's block on a few of my stories so sorry if it takes a while for me to become inspired again on them. There are so many ideas that I don't know what to do first even though I know I should work on my old stories before starting any new ones. However, the stories that get the most reviews are the ones that I'll most likely update first.

9/24/07: From now on I will only continue to write stories that get reviews because there is no reason to update if no one is reading. If no one reviews for a story I don't know if anyone actually likes or is reading it. So if you really like (or extremely dislike) a story and want to read more (or see dramatic improvements) please leave a review.

10/28/07: If anyone has any good Crow stories that sticks to the original movie, meaning it deals with Eric Draven (before or after he beomes The Crow, doesn't matter), send me a message and I'll gladly read and review it.

1/2/08: Thanks to everyone who has reviewed over the holiday break. I haven't had any time to update lately, but soon there will be tons of updates.

2/4/08: I just want you all to know there will not be that many updates for a while. Wednesday starts Lent and this year I'm giving up Fan Fiction. For 40 days I will not access this site, meaning I won't read or write any fanfics. The writing will commence in after Easter. When I do start writing again in April, I will start with the stories that got the most reviews.

5/22/08: For those of you reading my Opposites Attract story: 1) I appreciate you taking the time to read it and I have many thanks for those who have given a review. 2) I don't think I'll update it, or even finish it any time soon, if at all, but I will keep it posted.

6/22/08: Here is the news on my in-progress Crow stories. For High School Days, I know I haven't updated that story in a LOOOOONG time. I started writing the next chapter a while ago, I just haven't exactly decided in which of the 3 routes I want the story to go. As soon as all that is straightened out I will put up the next chapter. For the story Eric Draven Sends His Reguards, it is based on the comic and I'm using it to direct the letters in that story. Unfortunately, I don't have the comic with me right now and I don't entirely remember the exact order of Eric's victims, so it may be a while before that one is updated. 7/9/08: I'm probably going to delete the story Hand Of Sorrow because I've grown bored with it and I don't like where it is heading.

7/13/08: Thanks to Nightcrawlerlover and WhiteCloud for reviewing Hand Of Sorrow, and to anyone else who enjoyed reading it, but I decided it was best to delete it. I really didn't like the direction it was taking and did not want to deal with another far-from-being-finished but would take forever to update, or probably would never update, story hanging around. Also I reread it before making the final decision and there were many character issues in the first two chapters, not to mention over descriptive and boring. So thanks again to those who read.

7/14/08: Well I was looking over my stories and decided to do some cleaning. I'm taking down the stories that I don't like/won't update. Thanks to EssenceOfPhlegm, MissXHiem, and Husain Mahdi for reviewing the story Opposites Attract. I decided to delete that story because I'm not sure where to go with it and I just thought about it yesterday for the first time in weeks. I actually may end up rewriting and putting up the better version of this story someday. Again thanks to those who read and especially to those who read and review.

9/1/08: Again I wanted to clean up my stories and delete the ones I would probably never write for again. That said I decided that Awakening was a bad story idea and was not going anywhere so I deleted it.

9/25/08: For those of you reading Last Thoughts and/or The King of Halloween, don't panic! I have not abandonned those stories, I've simply misplaced my original manuscripts and will commence writing once I find them. I apologize for the long wait.

1/13/09: Yay! I have time to write! Lots of new stories and chapters are coming!

1/25/09: I don't have my old e-mail anymore, so the person who asked to translate my poem "Waiting" into Russian you have permission. Just make sure to give me the credit for the poem and include the disclaimer of giving Jane Austen the credit for being the author of the book and I'm not gaining any profit from writing this poem.

5/16/09: I have had several people message me (and by the results of the poll), wanting me to update High School Days. Don't panic, there will be an update soon. I meant to have a new chapter up by last Christmas, but unfortunately the computer I had that story on died during finals week. :( Being stressed and upset about losing my computer with my 15 page paper for a required class on it (takes deep breath) I had to rewrite that pushing back the new chapter for High School Days. So now I'm having to rewrite it all, trying to remember how I wanted the next chapter to go (I don't want their relationship to grow too quickly). I've played around with a few ideas, but have yet to make that final decision. Again, I apologize for the delay, but I give you my word it will be up by the end of the month.

6/29/09: Wow, I can't believe Summer break is almost over. In a little over a month classes will start up again. Anyway, my goal for the summer was to complete at least 2 of my in-progress stories, since I have so many. I don't know how it will go, but I'm getting closer to the end of a few. While on that note I don't think I'll update Boys in the Band for a while, if at all. I'm not going to take it down, because it was a fun idea, and I did enjoy writing it. I just realized it was still there recently, but I don't think there will be any new installments for a long time. But I do appreciate anyone who has read, reviewed, favored, etc. Thanks.
