I am a born again Christian and I am PROUD of it!...Except when I read about the Crusades and other stuff like that when humans mess up God's plan BIG TIME. But Jesus rocks my socks!! He seriously is a just and loving God and helps me be kinder to my family and get through the hard times. He loves me no matter what I've done. He is kind and good. He's slow to anger and rich in love. And if you don't believe that He's slow to anger, read the Old Testament. It took him like a thousand years before he sent the Babylonians and the Asyrians to teach the Israelites/Jews a lesson. And it was for their own good too.

And I'm really, really, really, really sorry if anyone who's a Christian/has taken that title has ever hurt you. That's not God. I am terribly sorry if anyone has ever done that to you. God has chosen to work through broken and messed up people to do His work and we're not perfect. And I'm sorry for the Crusades and the slaughter of Native Americans and everything else.

But please don't hold that against God.

I am a fan of Star Wars, Lotr, and Narnia, Jane Austen, and recently Labryinth, but when nothing new is up that I like I will occasionally read Potc or a Disney fic. I tend to write AU fics but will also write canon. So far, I don't have any oneshots in storage that aren't published. I have not run out of multi-chaptered fics in storage but I don't know when I'll release those to the public cause none of those are finished.

4/22/08: Oh my gosh it's been forever since I've updated my profile. Well lifes been good. I'm going back to Reynosa in June and I'm very excited. I just added a story with Anakin and Leia, father daughter fic. If anyone wants the last chapter of Father, Son, Husband, let me know and I'll update it. But I'm too lazy to post if no one's going to review. note cartoon evil eyes glaring at everyone who reads and doesn't review, including me

UPDATE: My story, Father, Son, Husband, is due for an update. Unfortunatly the next chapter is not written yet. The chapter after that one and a paragraph of the one after that are written. But it may be a while before it's updated.

I would also like to announce the arrival of two new one shots. One, a Jane Austen story from Bingley's pov as he leaves Netherfield. And another, a Starwars story in which Luke finds a mysterious prisoner in an old Imperial detention center.

UPDATE: I just got back from a mission trip to Reynosa, Mexico a few weeks ago. It was AWESOME! This mission trip wasn't just a trip that's just for fun and we say it's a mission trip to make us sound religious. This trip we saved lives. We gave out a hundred pounds of food and left the church another 1500 pounds for them to pass out later. We prayed like we never do here. We recently recieved an update from the church we were visiting, there were aproximatly 100 people who got saved because we visited. Man that makes one feel important. I never thought that I would do that yet. Maybe later, when I'm completely grown and out of college, but now? No.

I went last year and there were several people in the church this year that I remembered from last year. Romiro was one, he played guitar at the church, and Sophie was another. I grew close to Romiro last year and Sophie this year. But they're amazing people. My Mexican brethern are amazing people of faith, more deserving of the name "Christian," than many Americans who wear that name. I can't immagine living like they do--cinder blocks and maybe a cement roof, if you're lucky--daily, and be considered lucky by others to have that much. But the poor don't realize that it is not the cinder block house and cement roof that makes them blessed, it's their hope.
