Author has written 10 stories for High School Musical. My name is eight letters long and unfortunately for you dear reader, that's all you're going to get. I'm a college student so that narrows down my age in between 18 to 21. You can just take your pick. I'm definitely a home body and loves watching my favorite TV shows. Baking is my passion. Swimming, shopping and photography are my hobbies. UPDATE/STATUS: June 08, 2009 Yes, I am still alive and kicking. Well, kicking, not so much. These days, I'm barely hanging on to my sanity. I guess the old adage rings true in my case when I say that I'm burning the candle at both ends. Its has been approximately two months since my last update and since I've gotten several PM's inquiring/begging about updates on Running to a Stand Still and Missing Pieces, I felt like I had to explain why I haven't actually updated any of my stories. The answer is pretty simple really. I recently started working full-time. This is a job that takes me away from working and writing on a new chapter since I'm working from eight in the morning till six at night. Not to mention, I have another part-time job during the weekend. As a college student transferring this upcoming academic year, I need to save as much money as I can since we all know how expensive collegiate education is nowadays. So I'm taking advantage of my summer saving up for my future and this has greatly affected the time spent on any of my stories. I try to write during my break but its hard when even during your lunch break, people are still asking/ordering you around. By the time I get around to actually writing something for RSS and MS, I'm just too drained to write anything coherent. And the inspiration isn't there anymore at that stage. Essentially, my time is not my own. It's my boss. I have half of the second to the last chapter of RSS done. Also, I have written bits and pieces of the last chapter and the epilogue of RSS. I have scenes, more like drabbles really written for Missing Pieces but its not necessarily something I want to post since it seems like half-assed work. And I'm not one to post something that I'm not proud of just for the sake of updating. So, as of today, Missing Pieces is on hiatus/discontinued. You guys already know how this story ends since MS is just a continuation of sorts to Collide so its not like I'm leaving you hanging, hopefully. I will promise you that before I leave this September, Running to a Stand Still will be completed. It's the least I can do you for all the wonderful reviewers who have read my stories and given me feedback. I am so sorry that I haven't replied to any reviewers in such a long time but I figured, you'd rather have me writing something, anything for RSS than spend my time thanking everyone of you more personally. Just know that every review, even the one-liner ones that simply state "UPDATE!", means the world to me. You guys are what keep me writing even when my obsession/fan-girling/love for HSM and Zanessa have deserted me. To tide you over, a little snippet of the next chapter of RSS titled 'Partings' can be found in my LJ page: digitalprints . livejournal . com One - Shots: One Last Cry: Completed (Alternate Universe - Troyella) Afraid: Completed - Continuation to One Last Cry (Alternate Universe - Troyella ) Better With You: Completed - Continuation to Afraid (Alternate Universe - Troyella) Work This Out: Completed (Future Fic - Troyella) Delicate: Completed (Alternate Universe - Troyella) Short Stories: At the End of the Day - Completed (Troyella) Ghost of a Good Thing - Completed (Troyella). Collide - Completed (Alternate Universe - Troyella) Running to a Stand Still - In Progess (Alternate Universe - Troyella) Missing Pieces - In Progress - Continuation to Collide (Alternate Universe - Troyella) Planned Stories: To those of you who read Running to a Stand Still, you all know that I've said that RSS and Missing Pieces will be my last but as I was cleaning out my files, I stumbled across several stories that I've started yet didnt' exactly finish. So since I still have some juice left in me, and since the Zan love is still there, I'll hopefully finish and post the following three stories before I transfer to a UC this upcoming academic year. Learning to Breathe (One-shot) Summary: Sometimes, you meet someone and before you could even know their name, before you could even get to know the real them, you know, deep in your heart, that person will mean something to you. Preview: The first time I saw you, the immediate thought that ran across my head was, "She looked so out of place". You were wearing a yellow dress while everyone was wearing red or white. East High was a school full of pride after all. You were standing by the bleachers, the nearest one to the exit. And it looked like all you ever wanted to do was get out of there. But there was that sparkle in your eyes that made me rethink that assumption. You looked so alive. You're eyes sparkled in wonderment, as if you've never been at a basketball game before. Every time there was a break or a huddle, I found myself looking for you. I've never felt like that before. I've never been drawn to another person like I was immediately drawn to you. So you're crazy if you think that I'll just let you go. Because I'm not going anywhere. I'm in love with you, Brie. So, I'll be here. Waiting - forever, if need be. Troy. Second Chances (Two-shot) Summary: Fate brought Troy and Gabriella together. But reality tore them apart. This is the story of what happens after the "happily-ever after". Because sometimes, in real life, fairy tale endings aren't all its cracked up to be. Preview: Death. It just seems so unreal. So far away. But the funny thing was, death was never a surprise. They say that every beginning has an end. That death - dying was inevitable. That it was all a part of a vicious cycle. Simply put, death was something everyone expected. You live. And you die. But as Gabriella stared at his lifeless body, she thought about the tragedy of it all. How can you expect an end when life never even fully began? Breathe (Collide Redux) - a new take, if you will, on Collide. Same premise of boy and girl have a one night stand, boy wants to take it further but girl is afraid to fall in love again. Still in its early stages but most likely will be the same length as Collide. Note: Given FF's policy regarding stories written about real people, my Zanessa one-shots: Shades of Success, The Real Deal, Scenes from a Marriage, Something About the Efron's can be found in my LJ page: http://digitalprints.livejournal.com/ Also, if you're a huge HSM fan and love reading HSM fics (and I'm assuming you are since you're reading a profile page of an author who only writes anything for Zanessa and HSM), head over to this amazing HSM community over in LJ: http:// community.livejournal.com/intothelines/ | |||||||
