I'm currently a college student, soon to graduate. I've been hobby fiction writing and Role Playing for years, but most of my best stories never make it onto paper. Instead, they circulate in my head as daydreams to focus my often-wandering mind, then fade out when I grown bored of them. I'm hoping an account here, an update schedule, and some sense of responsibility to my readers will help change that.

I was introduced to Avatar: The Last Airbender in late July '06 by a friend, and quickly became obsessed with it.

The Other Waterbender:

Faith in the Enemy - Katsumi Saifong is an orphan who has grown up in the Southern Earth Kingdom. Along with her friends, Kai, Saki, Tashu, and Lei, she set out to find a Master Waterbender, and possibly some family a year before the Avatar was found in an iceberg. After visiting the North Pole, the kids headed south, only to run into a Fire Nation ship along the way. In the attack Katsumi is captured by the banished Fire Nation Prince. With Iroh's meddling and guidance, the two strong-willed benders find mutual respect for each other's bending skills. COMPLETE

Finding the Way - Almost two years later, Ozai has been defeated, Azula sits on the Fire Nation throne, the war machine focuses on the North Pole, and Zuko has gone missing. The arrival of fire nation citizens at the South Pole drives Kat to seek out the stubborn prince she once met in the hopes of helping him retake his throne and end the war. They'll have to make an uneasy alliance with the people he's betrayed to stand a chance of defeating Azula and her mixed army of Dai Li and Fire Benders. IN PROGRESS

Avatar: 17 years later - 17 Years after Ozai's defeat, but only 16 years after the end of the war and the death of Aang, the world faces a new crisis. The new Avatar has been murdered at the North Pole. Now the teenagers who saved the world must reunite as its strongest benders and politicieans to keep the peace and find out who is behind it. Meanwhile, two young women, grey eyed and grey haired, wash up along the southern shores of the Fire Nation. Wherever they go are reports of ghosts and spirits and follow, and soldiers swear they've seen them fly. Who are they, what are they, and where are they from? And what do they have to do with the death of the new Avatar?

5-12-07 Wow, 97 hits on Finding the Way and not a single review, that's sort of depressing. I've begun working on a different twist that I haven't seen done quite yet, the first test chapter will be up soon - if it gets good reviews it'll be continued, if it doesn't, it'll be stopped with the one chapter.

5-14-07 Finally, one review! Yay! (Thanks Nocturnis!). I'm hoping to have the preliminary prologue chapter up for a new story today/tonight, and maybe even chapter 4 of Finding the Way if the muse strikes me.
