I am forty four years old, born in the year of the Dragon, a day before Severus Snape (January 8). I am a pagan. I am a dog groomer by profession. I live with my husband, who is a Kadazan tribesman from the island of Borneo. His oldest daughter lives with us, she's gorgeous, intelligent and all things a mother could want. We are all mad about animals and have a fifteen year old Australian Cattle Dog, an eight year old American Pit Bull, a nine year old Wire Fox Terrier, a seven year old Corgi sheltie mix, a three year old dog we just say is a Min Pin thing, or Miss Crazy. We also have a cat named Mr. Frankie. Yes, this might explain why, as I write, you will see animals in my stories. We live in Oklahoma, a strange land which is ruled by conservative reactionaries who hate Pagans and Harry Potter. (How do I survive?) I was raised on an acreage in the seventies by two of the coolest parents any one could have. I have always had a soft spot for Snape. He was and is the most complex character in the HP series. I like the idea that a man who has been so foul can be redeemed. I am an avid Science fiction/ fantasy reader and love the Melusine/Virtu books by Sarah Monette. I am also a fan of Mercedes Lackey, Tanith Lee and Sara Douglass. The Pen name tambrathegreat, came from my step-kids when we would play video games together. They didn't like the boring old Tambra I would put so they made me use that name. It's become something of a family joke, and I, in no way desire to conquer the world (well not too much.) Along the way they find out some things about themselves and each other. WIP A Brief Timeline of the Slytherin Redemption Series: Absolution: Set the Christmas after the Final Battle. Forgiveness: Begins three years after the Final Battle and will eventually catch up with the end of Salvation and the beginning of Miss Patil. This story, given the scope should be read last or at least concurrent with Miss Patil.. Penance: Malfoy's letter begins six years after the Final Battle, his conversation with Harry is around eight years after. Salvation: Set eleven years after the Final Battle, covers around a year of action. (Concurrent with Salvation:) Sundays: Set during Salvation. Freedom: Set after the 13th and 14th chapters of Salvation. Miss Patil Takes a Holiday: Begins at the end of Salvation, twelve years after the Final Battle. Mr. Malfoy Builds His Dream Home: Set five years after the events in Miss Patil. Letters From America: Begins days after Draco's trial in Salvation, continues through Miss Patil. The planned Percy Story will probably be independent of both the Life Universe and the SRS universe. I write OC's into my stories. I do not use Mary Sues, not even in parody. I hate that type of character. My characters have flaws, not so perfect bodies, tempers and inappropriate senses of humor. Sometimes they are not too likeable, and they never have all the answers.
