Author has written 26 stories for X-Men: The Movie, Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, 3:10 to Yuma, Bones, Harry Potter, and Batman Begins/Dark Knight. First of all, I welcome you all to my profile. You will find it to be a place that welcomes everyone with open arms. I’m just nice like that. Me, I’m a 22 year old girl/woman/person of the female variety from the wonderful country of Norway. Yes, that’s the country up north in Europe that looks like a spoon and used to be filled with Vikings. My name is Mia, although on the net I usually use the name Miasen. Oh, what a WONDERFUL imagination I have. Mostly I just panicked when I was figuring out my name on this page when I found that the suggestions I had was all taken. My main hobby is, no surprises here, to write. I never travel anywhere without my trusty notebook (it’s quite pretty, with lots of little monsters on it) and a pen. Said notebook, which is only one in a line of many, is filled with randomness. X-Men story ideas, Batman story ideas, lots of vampire stuff for my original stories and doodles. When I’m not writing I’m studying I am working at a nifty grocery store where I wear a bright green uniform. I’m a regular Kermit the Frog there I sit and beep groceries (and write story notes on the backside of recites when there are no customers). Anything else you want to know about me? Hmmmm… Okay, English is my second language, Norwegian being quite obviously my first (Heia Norge!) and German is something I should know having had it for 5 years in school, but that I don’t know. (“Ich heisse Mia” just about sums it up for my knowledge of the German language). I love to read, mostly fantasy and vampire books, but I add some other stuff too. And I love movies. Got about 500 DVDs now I think. Wops, no wonder I’m always broke. As you already have, or soon will, notice, my main love to write about have so far been X-Men: The Movie, and especially the character of Angel from said movie. But I’ve written other things too though. Like Persuasion, a one-shot about a rugged cowboy that just happens to be portrayed by the same actor that portrays Angel. Which is TOTALLY coincidental. Or maybe not so much. Or at all. The last fandom I’ve posted a story in here is a Crack!Fic featuring Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Oh, nothing like a story written in the middle of the night while on a sugar high. (EDIT: Only in December I've doubled the number of fandoms I've posted stories in. Have I been productive or what?! Go me!) But of course I’ve dabbled in other fandoms too, and a quick browsing of my computers brings up these fandoms that I have half-finished fics for: Argeneau Series, Batman, CSI, Harry Potter, Iron Man, Moonlight, Narnia, Supernatural and Twilight. See how organized I am, having them all alphabetical? Neat huh? And I’m always adding new stuff to the list of fandoms I want to write about too. So don’t be surprised if you see a LOTR or PotC fic from me either.(EDIT: And I am currently turning into a Narutard, so there is a possibility that some fics from that fandom will surface too. ;) Although I am quite sure I'll end up writing yaoi then, so they'll most likely just be posted over at Y!Gall, along with the rest of my yaoi stories.) When it comes to fanfiction I like to write loads of stuff. Funny stories, sad stories, angsty stories, fluffy stories and smutty stories. I have quite a lot of one-shots, but also some longer stuff. Angel/Rogue has been a favourite shipping of mine, but I’ve also written Angel/Kitty, Logan/Rogue, Logan/Jean and others. Something for everyone! I told ya you would feel welcome here. Haven’t written any slash yet though. Or well, I’ve written one slash story, but it’s a bit too graphic for all the kiddies here, so if I post it it will be on one of my other pages (all listed below for your enjoyment). (Sorry, I have an exam I should study for so I do my best to find other stuff to do, like redo by profile here.) Oh! Status on stories! Yay! I recently finished Struck by Lightning, my longest project. Demonchild is dead and I won’t be writing anymore on that. Why you might ask? Well, because it suck, that’s why. I only keep it up here because of the nice people who took the time to read and review, and to prove to myself that I actually HAVE improved as a writer. Anyhoodles, The Fallen is on a prolonged hiatus. Not dead, just asleep. Fast, fast asleep. Will write more if I’m struck with inspiration. As long as inspiration carries a sledgehammer and swings it hard enough to get through my thick head. Is that it? I think the rest of my stories are all complete. Woot! (EDIT: Only I forgot about Eavesdropping Sneaks. Wops. Haven't been inspired to write much on that lately. But it's not dead though. :)) I don't limit my writing to fanfiction, I've got several original stories in the writing too. Short stories will be posted over at fictionpress or deviantart, but my books will be kept on my computer until they are finished. My big dream in life is to once get a book published, but in the meanwhile I'm keeping 'em close to me, and am only going to let good friends read 'em. If they want to. I have two book projects going, both with vampires, but otherwise very different. Lately it seems like I've been spending more time on writing them than writing fanfiction, but I have in no sense forgotten about my fanfiction either. It's just not my main priority at the moment. My main new years resolution for 2009 is to finish the first draft of one of my books, so I'll be trying to write more on them in the year to come. Wish me luck! I have this project going on with a friend, Liave Ekeli, so there’s a very big chance you’ll see a slight explosion of fics from me over the next weeks, but I don’t see any harm in that. Lots of fics for the kiddies to read! :D The project is pretty much that we've made ourself a Christmas Prompts Calender to count down the days for christmas. Pretty much this means that every other day we write a story based on a prompt written by the other. Different themes and characters and fandoms. I'm really excited! My first one is tomorrow, the 2nd. Be sure to check out hers too! My prompts to her is horrible, but even so she manages to write excellent stories. Because all the stories are written over just a few hours, because we only have a day and actually have other stuff to do besides writing, they'll be short, and perhaps a little rough. We just write whatever comes to us and go with the flow. ;-) (EDIT: Well, writing all these stories over just a day ended up being a bit too much with all our exams and christmas preparations, so now that we've opened all our prompts and have them hanging on our walls we've decided to just write them when we have the time. So there will be more of them coming throughout 2009. It'll probably take some time to finish all of them, since I've only written three so far, but I will finish em, eventually! :D) I am quite a friendly person, so don’t be afraid to contact me.
