So it has come to my attention again that I needed to update my bio, and that my old bio had nothing really bio-ie about it... This would frustrate me if I was you, because I like to know the silly little details about other people here - they help me to be judgemental and biased :) So...

My Silly Little Details

Name: Paranoia... but also Katty (like meow) and Kat, and well just plain neighpony of course

Age: 19, I still haven't recovered from wanting to stop aging at 17 and I'm now nearly 20 - it's depressing!

Occupation: Full time Uni student, but thankfully getting towards that being over. Part time Supermarket worker, with many people enlisted to shoot me if that should continue after I finish uni. I also work for the uni... well the bit that I live in anyway, I suppose you'd describe it as a college with dorms and stuff (except that that's a very American concept and I live in Australia) - anyway, the point is I work in like a pastrol care kind of role, organise events, help people with whatever and enforce rules etc etc... I'm also a tutor for a few subjects, but not a very good one I don't think lol.

I live: Most of the year away at Uni, but other then that I live at home... I lived in Malaysia for a few months when I came out of school, it was for a TEFL volunteer thing. Salamat datang ke saya profile page to any of you who still get to enjoy shopping at KLCC whenever the whim takes you (I miss it sooooo much!)

My start in Fanficion: The first time I went looking for stories I didn't know what slash was - I assumed it meant like a slasher film or like really bad horror. So I avoided all those stories because I thought they'd be way too scary. If you've ever noticed, avoiding everything with the word 'slash' in it in fanfiction does not leave you with many options. I just couldn't understand how so many people could be so into horror, so one day I decided to harden up and read one. I was like "but that wasn't scary at all" so I read a few more then realised what the common denominator had actually been. I suppose you could say I cascaded from there.

I'm still on Fanfiction because: I like writing and I like fanfiction because it's honest. People like your work or they don't, it's nameless and faceless and judged entirely for what it is. That's a good break if you're anything like me and read way too much into life and how other people act. Most of all I like fanfiction because I like reviews and reading them when I have a shitty day or feel like uni is going crap and I'm no good at anything... they're proof that someone thinks I'm good a something, and that's nice :D
