Um, let's see--I'm a forty-something mother of two who lives in Arizona, married to my wonderful husband for 22 amazing years. I discovered fanfic in January 2007 and wrote my first story (Meant To Be?) in March 2007. My favorite show is Bones (duh!), but I also love Prison Break, 24, House, CSI and Numb3rs--none of which have inspired me to write fanfic like Bones has. I was turned on to Buffy/Angel after I mentioned to a friend that I thought David Boreanaz was HOT and she told me about those shows. Needless to say, I was hooked from the get-go and I've watched every episode of both--many of them repeatedly. I've only recently ventured into that realm of fanficdom, but I'm not as comfortable there as I am with Bones.

I hate OOC stories, though I will occasionally write slightly OOC, but then I will usually post a warning in my A/N. I'm not crazy about AU stories. Present tense is a big turn-off for me. I rarely write first person--only when the story calls for it. Most of my stories are B&B centric 'cuz I'm a die hard B&B shipper--deal with it! The sexual tension between those two could power a small third world country if they ever found a way to harness it. And I love their bickering.

I love to help other writers improve their craft and especially enjoy beta-ing for those writers interested in learning from the experience. Brainstorming with fellow writers is one of my favorite things to do. I'm always honest in my reviews, so you can bet if I tell you your story rocks, it totally does! I try hard to balance criticism with praise, but sometimes its hard to express things in print, so give me the benefit of the doubt if it sounds like I'm being bitchy. I've been flamed myself a few times and I know how much it smarts, so I won't do it to others. I'm a bit of a grammar/spelling Nazi. A few errors are acceptable, but if the story is riddled with them, I will usually post a nicely worded review and then probably never read anything by that author again. IMO it is a sign of laziness and lack of pride in workmanship. I work really hard to post my best effort, editing and polishing 5-6 times before posting. Anything less than my best would be embarrassing.

Speaking of reviews, I LOVE getting them--I mean, seriously, its beter than sex and chocolate all rolled into one (don't tell my hubby).
