Author has written 7 stories for Harvest Moon. My AWESOME Jack/Mary profile picture is courtesy of Ms. Sarcasm. It's on her deviantart, along with a whole lot of other incredible artworks. Go look! :) I'm a sixteen year old Australian (no, we don't eat kangaroo, wear farmer hats and live in shacks. Most of us don't, anyway) girl named Hannah, who loves writing a little too much for anyone's benefit. Since I was, like... eight, I've dreamed of becoming an author, but I honestly don't think I've got the writing style for a book. (Sounds a lot better than saying I'm not good enough, right?) And thanks to a certain fabulous author on the site, I've well and truly decided that I WILL BE A SCRIPTWRITER. It's got to be the most awesome job I can think of - and overdramatic soap operas? No problem. So my thing. I'd love to be one of those super-organized people who say... you know, I'll update on the Thursday of every second week, but I'm truthfully nowhere near organized enough. It can take me three days, it can take me over a month. To my readers, for this, I am so so so sorry. I've got three billion times too much in my life, and if it were up to me, fanfiction would be first priority. :) I don't bite, I'm not all that scary, and you shouldn't be afraid to PM or email me if you have anything you need to ask me about. Even if you just want to talk. (I could probably be a little more stranger danger aware, but eh. I don't give out really personal information, I don't think I'm going to get murdered.) You want me to read your story, or if you want to make a request for a oneshot, I'll try my best. Once again, time - or a significant lack of it - might stop me from replying instantly, but I'll do my best not to leave you hanging. I love my reviewers :) Note: You are welcome to PM me and ask for my IM address, but keep in mind that if I've never communicated with you before, it's very unlikely I will give it out. My reviewers and those that I've communicated with before, go for it and ask me XD. Updates and such... August 16th, 2009 - Chapter 52 is coming along nicely, and yes, I have a Literature exam tomorrow on a book that I haven't actually read - but I feel like writing so I'm going to run with it. I get the feeling this next chapter will be a relatively long one - AND a dramatic one - and best of all, it shouldn't take too long for me to write it. Thank you for being so patient recently, guys! Random Ramblings Right now, I'm only interested in writing for Harvest Moon – I love how flexible the characters and storylines are, and obviously, IT IS SO CUTE. I'll let you have a glimpse of my insane fangirl pairings. Absolute favourites are bolded. Harvest Moon – Gray/Claire, Kai/Claire, Jack/Mary, Griffin/Jill, Jack/Ann, Jack/Nami. I can't see why so many people who love Graire 'ZOMG LyK totaLLy HATE!!1!1!!1' Grary. Technically, if they're basing it on the fact that they don't want Gray paired with anyone but Claire, shouldn't they hate every other Claire pairing as well? I'm a major Gray/Claire fangirl and possibly now an ever bigger Jack/Mary fangirl, but I don't mind Gray with Mary. And it annoys me as much as it annoys the loyal Grary shippers when I see three-year-old idiots ranting about how much they hate Mary. Interestingly enough, their rants generally consist of non-existent grammar and unreadable “spelling” – if you can even call it that. So I do try to love all pairings, but there's just one I absolutely can't stand – Flora/Carter. Granted, I've never seen a oneshot that actually shows the good side of the pairing, and reading one might change my mind... but judging by the game... he marries her because he believes it will help his stupid excavation. ARGH. That, alongside the fact that Flora is my favourite Harvest Moon girl for reasons that even I don't know. And I just have to say, while on the subject of pairings, I am adamantly Team Jacob. I hated how Stephanie Meyer cheated us by pairing Jacob off with Renesmee so squeaky clean – even leaving the poor guy heartbroken would have been better in my opinion. And I don't get the appeal of Edward that all the normal people in the world seem to see... we'll just say that if I was able to influence Bella's decision, there would have been one annoyed vampire and one very happy werewolf :) I don't favourite stories for being well structured or having absolutely perfect grammar. Readability helps, obviously, but the stories in there ARE there because they made me react strongly in some way – whether it was making me laugh, making me cry, or giving me that bubbly feeling in my chest for awesome fluff. There are so many stories out there that I love, but the ones I've favourited are there because they really are my complete FAVOURITES, and I absolutely recommend each and every one of them. Thanks if you bothered to read my pointless profile :D - Hannah | |||||||||||||
