Author has written 29 stories for Stargate: SG-1, StarTrek: The Next Generation, and Sanctuary. Just a few notes on my Stargate SG1 stories: First of all, all my stories are centered around the Sam and Jack ship. I try to write in accord with the show's canon, at least to the point where official canon ends, but I firmly believe that as of the end of S8 Threads, Sam and Jack are together, and my work reflects this. Some of this was written pre-Sam in SGA and was best-guess as far as details were concerned, but nothing that happened in SGA directly contradicts anything I've written. My only change in thinking since I first began writing was to perhaps re-think whether Sam and Jack have actually married by the time Sam went to Atlantis or if this is still in their future. We're counting on Brad Wright and Carl Binder and TPTB to clarify all this for us in the 3rd SG1 movie. Write faster, gentlemen. In any case, if you're reading my SG works and coming to play in my SG universe, I suggest the following order: To Majors, To Make Much Of Time: set mid-Season 3, shortly after Urgo and before A Hundred Days. Looping: a bit of fluff I wrote after someone asked Joe Mallozzi if in Window of Opportunity Jack only kissed Sam once. His reply was: something like I think it's safe to assume that was only the tip of the iceberg. Bloodstains: Set within the episode of Entity, it touches on Jack's suffering as he deals with having killed Sam Out of Time is not one of my usual SG-1 stories. It's an ATL story based on the SG-1 novel Relativity by James Swallow. Timeline wise it fits at the beginning of Season 8. This one comes with a high-angst warning and major character death. However, it is ATL, so take heart. Honorable Mention recipient of the 2008 Stargate Fan Awards SG-1 Sam/Jack Angst fiction. Scenes from the Cutting Room Floor: my imagined discovery of bits and pieces that were trimmed from various episodes from Season 8. This could be considered a prequel to Missing Pieces. Missing Pieces: which is basically a series of tags and bridges from Threads through Unending, filling in what I thought were some much needed scenes between Sam and Jack. Winner of the 2007 Stargate Fan Awards SG-1 Ship Best Episode-based Sam/Jack fiction. Jack's Christmas Carol: Another story wedged in between chapters of Missing Pieces. This was written for Zuz at GW as a Secret Santa gift. Demons in the Dark: set in S10 following Momento Mori and wedged in between that episode, Company of Thieves and The Quest. It fits with Missing Pieces too, interwoven between Chapters 3&4 and 4&5. Episode 21: titled for what I hoped would be my optimistic view that the series continues, even if its only in the hearts and imaginations of its fans. I tried to write this episode-style. Missing in Action: another episodic-style piece timed after Sam is transferred to Atlantis. Both this and Episode 21 refer to events in Missing Pieces, so they do all sort of tie together, even if I consider them separate and individual works. Eclipse: is a ficlet, set sometime during Sam's command in Atlantis. Too Close For Comfort: is a tag to Trio and includes a nod to the conversation between Sam and Jennifer Keller that unfortunately ended up on the cutting room floor. Echoes: a bridge fic set between SGA S5's Search and Rescue and the SG1 movie, Continuum. Sooner or Later: Set shortly after Continuum. In Other Words: Sam's parting words in Continuum inspired this post-Continuum bit of fluff Shadows: a slightly darker fic surrounding some of Sam's deeply buried memories brought out of the shadows by the Elizabeth Weir's memorial service Elegy: covers events from late Season 3 through shortly after Enemy at the Gate Launch: Set after the events of SGA S5 Enemy at the Gate. Circumspect: Set somewhere between Enemy at the Gate and the yet untitled 3rd SG-1 Movie. Just speculation... Just for fun... The following fics were written just for fun, cuz don't you know, if you write S/J ship fic you have to have at least one baby fic. Not exactly canon, but who's to say that one day it might not happen... A Day in May: I wrote this mostly for the gang at the Sam/Jack ship family forum at Gateworld as a sort of Mother's Day present. Timewise it falls long after Missing in Action, although I pretty much think of it as a stand-alone piece, although it now has a sequel: A Day in November. A Day in November: This is also for the gang at the Sam/Jack ship family forum...a sequel to A Day in May. It was just begging for one, dontcha know? Anyway...this was for the Shipsgiving celebration. A little sappy, but hey, ya gotta have fluff from time to time, for cryin' out loud! Learning to Fish: Chapter Two: Reeling: Written for the S/J Ship Appreciation Thread Ficathon at GW, in conjunction with jenniferjf. Her plot bunny. I just came along for the ride. Sanctuary I've written 3 Sanctuary ficlets. Mostly headpieces. Meditations: Immediately follows events of The Five. Encore: Set mid-Revelations, S1 and is written from James Watson's pov In Dreams: Is set back in the 1880s and centers around the decision Helen makes when she learns she's pregnant with John's child. Edge: A Will piece. It takes place very soon after S2 Eulogy. Finally... For anyone who reads my Star Trek: The Next Generation novel, I wrote this because I couldn't stand the idea of Picard and Beverly separated at the end of Nemesis and wanted to put everything right in their universe. As noted, I tried to tie it to the canon of the television show and the subsequent movies and not the extended universe of the published novels, although I did incorporate some of those events into the story. Thankfully, TPTB have finally resolved this ship on their own and it is now canon. It's about time.
