I have Trichotillomania.

It's a mental disorder thought to be connected to depression and/or OCD because of the compulsive urge to pull out hair.

I'd been pulling out my hair for two years before finding out it had a name.

It affects around 4 of the population.

If you have it too, you're not alone, you're not a freak, and it's not you're fault you can't stop it, and there is no shame in admitting you have it.
