Author has written 28 stories for House, M.D.. My Life With House My obsession with House began in the Summer of 2006, when my friend gave me his copies of Season 1 and 2. I started on a Friday night at 9pm, and watched episode after episode until the next morning at 8am. I couldn't stop watching. I watched each episode, enthralled by the brilliance of the writing and acting. The only reason I did stop was because I was expected at work at noon and needed to get some sleep. Over the next several days I finished the first two seasons. I was hooked, and now there's no going back. I had been a lurker at the House Forum at Fox.com for a few months and had read a couple of fan fictions there. While some were good, others were terrible. There's nothing worse than reading a story about characters you know so well, and having them be so out of character that you want to vomit. I joined in November 2006 and began posting my first story, Time Heals, at the end of February. I got great reviews, and when Time Heals had finished, I began posting the sequel, Sisters. In between my 'epics', I posted a few one-shots, the first being Wheelchair Grande Prix. I loved the thought of writing comedy, so I wrote a few more, including House of a Different Color (a Wizard of Oz parody) and Princeton Hold 'em. Then came the smut. I must admit that I have a love of Harlequin Romance novels, which were a huge inspiration for my long stories. To make my readers happy, I wrote a series of smutty one shots that were a big hit. This all led to the beginning of 'The Saturday Night Smutathon', a smut fiction festival on the forums that allowed any author to submit a short story about any characters they'd like. Now we add challenges, like props and locations. I have to say that there are some incredibly talented writers out there. After Sisters ended, I decided to take a break from the 'epic' and write a House/OC fiction called Barkley, about a columnist for The New Yorker who comes to PPTH for an interview she'll never forget. This is my favorite, project. Being able to create an original character and have her interact with all the characters I know and love is something new and exciting for me. I hope you'll all check it out, even if you've never read a House/OC fic before. You might be pleasantly surprised. Thank you for reading and reviewing my stories.
