I try to review everything that I've read (that's only polite plus if someone took their time to write something good they should get some recognition, right? And if someone was too stupid to read the guidelines ... well, those poor souls deserve my very not nice reviews) but as that is quite a lot I don't always have the time for that. So, if I alerted or favorited you or your story then I probably liked it very much and will hopefully get around to reviewing later. (Though with uni being as crazy as it currently is that is rather doubtful.)

Things that annoy me:

What I really can't stand are "authors" who upload crap because they were soooo bored, never bothered to run a spell check or check if their plot actually makes sense and so pollute my favourite fandoms. That does not include 'bad' authors. If you really tried to make your story good (meaning at least run a spell check and put some effort into it) then you are excluded from the above mentioned. Because then the story is not 'bad' per se.

Those who just upload a new chapter if they get somany reviews (review whoring). I understand that it's frustrating if you get only very few reviews but with withholding a chapter because of that you are not only childish but also pretty unfair to those who liked your story and reviewed.

Songfics with (complete) lyrics in it! Read the guidlines. Please. There it is stated clearly that lyrics are forbidden on ff.net. So, please follow those guidelines. You agreed to follow them when you signed up, remember? And you don't really want ff.net to get sued, right ? Now, if it's just a few lines because the character is listening to it or just to set the mood - fine. But a story that practically only consists of the lyrics with very few actual story strewn in it - no way.

Original fiction: If I click on the HP fandom I want to read HPfics, same goes for Naruto and anything else. Shocking, I know but that's how it is. So, follow the guidelines and post your original shit at fiction press! (Yes, that site exists. No, I didn't make it up. If you don't believe me, in the guidelines or the ToS there is a link.)

Recently, there has been a flood of original stuff in the +Anima section. People, +Anima is a manga it's not a place to dump: crossoverfics (they have a new handy feature for that), storys that don't seem to fit anywhere else (Misc, anyone?), original storys that seem to vagualy happen in an 'anime-setting' or Pokemon/Sonic/Naruto/Whatever because you were to lazy to search for the fitting category.
