Author has written 7 stories for CSI: New York.

Hey y'all!

Thanks for stopping by. A few things about me: I write and I read as much as a breathe and drink coffee and I am working myself to the bone to try to be able to call myself a real writer as opposed to just a reader who writes.According to my mother, I have been writing stuff most of my life and I used to stay up all nigh hiding in my closet with a flashlight reading and writing. Somewhere along the way I got bogged down with schoolwork and all my writing was papers, journal articles and other boring stuff, but even that stuff had a creative edge that amused professors. Even as an "adult" (I use the term loosely) I loved getting paid to write even if it was for training manuals, custody evaluations and grant proposals. Now I have too many degrees, want more and I am having ye old "quarterlife crisis" (don't laugh) and I have a private counseling practice for the time being, though I will be working as a school counselor starting in the fall. I am currently living by the quote"Be a New Orleanian wherever you are"having made the longest move from New Orleans to Lower Alabama in the history of mankind.

NOLA Rising is essentially a FlackOC fic, but it involves all of the team. Its main character Augusta Broussard (Gus) is Claire's niece. I finally cut it off somewhere around 400 pages because I had to. However the plot bunnies won't leave me alone and two sequels now follow.

The Saints Aren't Coming is a darker look at life in general and is a sort of canon walk through season 4. What It Means would be called the happier of the two sequels (wherein Gus and Flack are still together) but there may be some shockers along the way. I call it the "AU" sequel where I can give myself a little more creative license. New Orleans does feature in my stories, because my heart is there and the stories from Hurricane Katrina are true.

I also wrote12 CSI:NY Days of Christmas in an attempt to get out of the holiday slump and Shuffle because it was a fab challenge (which I haunted a lot of y'all with, because I am evil like that).

Then the plot bunnies dragged me into co-writing a "M" rated story with Aphina. A deliciously evil romp through things that could have been called What Ifs.

If that wasn't enough for me (as I try to write things that could actually get published), I started a companion piece to Brown eyed Girl's Memories of Brooklyn entitled Brooklyn Bridges which is a look at how one death can effect the entire team.

Then due to a night on an air mattress and too many Sangritas (of my own creation), I decided to start a series entitled Home on the Lab. It's first story is called Positive.

As for suggested readings, I suggest you check out stories by the following authors: Aphina, Sparkycsi, Axellia, Forest Angel, foxdvd, Brown eyed Girl 75 and mustlovecat!! I also started a community (C2) for good OC stories because I am addicted to them. Leaving my creativity for stories, I called it, simply: CSI:NY(OC). Feel free to check it out and subscribe. PM me if you want to add anything to it.

I guess I am also supposed to add all that jargon about not owning CSI franchise or the characters except the ones I introduce that no one else has ever heard of and even those I don't own they just kind of take up residence in my brain for a while. Don't sue me, see above, Katrina kind of took away a lot of the owning stuff . In addition any dialog taken direct from the show is not meant to be copyright infringement. In addition, beware of spoilers, the stories will have them Especially, obviously, the canon ones.
