(added on 9/7/09) -- To any of you who are here to find out when I will be updating my "10 Things I Hate About You" fic, I am currently unable to update for a couple of reasons. 1) I moved across the country and am waiting for my boxes that I shipped to arrive. My notebook full of all my ideas for "A Tale of Two Patricks" resides within one of those packages. 2) I just started college and am still getting accustomed to the more intense workload, plus I'm in an even more intense leadership program that is eating any free time I have left. 3) I have planned out the entire story, but I just made a major change in the delivery of the events so I'm still mulling over that and I don't want to update before I've worked it all out. NEEDLESS to say, I will finish this story and I will update soon (within the next couple weeks). --

Hi, my name is peculiarjuliar. There was a point in time that I was infatuated with the 1992 Disney musical, Newsies. Looking back, I think I was more in love with baby Christian Bale and David Moscow. Anyway, there are some random Newsie fics I've written on here; be grateful though, I deleted the really weird ones!

One of my goals is to write a Batman Begins/Dark Knight story. I feel very intimidated by the idea of recreating Gotham City, so I don't know how long before I gather the guts to try such a fic. I'd also like to write a Firefly chapter fic about how Zoe and Wash met/fell in love.

Our Tristran: This one-shot attacked me and took over my hand and wrote itself. It's based of the movie, not the book (even though the movie didn't have a category so I put it in the book's author's category) and is the work I am most pleased with (at the moment). SEE THE MOVIE and then READ THIS!

10 Things I Hate About You:

A Tale of Two Patricks: (title subject to change, though it is kind of growing on me) This fic retells the story we all love, this time focusing more on Patrick. Kat has a little sister; what if Patrick has a little sister, too? We've all seen how Kat deals with Bianca; what kind of brother is Patrick to Ashlee? The Stratford home has been viewed by thousands; what is Verona-Family Life like? I have a lot of plans and ideas for this story, and I'm really excited about writing it. I want to keep all original relationship the same, though how the characters reach those points will probably be different at times.

Newsies:

Who Can Hear a Lousy Whistle Blow?: This is my latest chapter fic that I'm writing. It's fun to write and hopefully fun to read. Modern-day humorous tale of one girl's experiences at a summer music camp -- dealing with various newsie cliques, musical endeavors, and perhaps a little romance. JackOC. SkittsOC. MushOC. Little Boy Blue (LBB): My first completed chapter fanfiction. It is a tad melodramatic and very much a first attempt at a fanfic. I hope to someday redo it and make it presentable. For now, you can try reading it if you'd like, but be prepared for a depressing tale. DavidOC.
