Hmm, I guess I should put something really intelligent here...I got nothing. Basically, my name is ZebraBlonde, but I prefer to go by Zebs or Zebbie. I'm fifteen and I love reading and writing and dream of being published. Most of my earlier fics need revising, but I have exams coming up, so don't have much free time, but I'll get to it eventually. That's about it really (hmm, my life can be summed up in about four sentences, quite sad really...).
Disclaimer - Owen Harper is mine, as is Allan-A-Dale from Season 1 and Edward and Carlisle Cullen. Ask anyone on the RRA!
TV Shows: Stargate Atlantis, Stargate SG-1 (saw my first episode when I was three and have been hooked ever since), Heroes, 24, Dr Who, Torchwood, Robin Hood BBC (Allan and Will rock!) and a bunch of others not worth mentioning.
Favourite Authors: So many... JK Rowling, Meg Cabot, Janet Evanovich, Stephenie Meyer, Anthony Horowitz.
FF Friends: ProudSoldier'sGal-MiraDale, xxCee-Gxx , Lady Clark-Weasley of Books, DeanParker, Paula545, Soapy-Liedown, Scarletts'Keepress.
Stargate SG-1:
Ah, my first Sci-Fi love. I saw the first episode when I was three and have been hooked ever since - although I didn't like the Tokra series very much. Nothing will ever beat the original team, but I quite like Cameron Mitchell and Vala. If you ask me, the two of them so belong together, none of that Daniel/Vala crap. I am a firm writer of Daniel/Janet all the way. I think Sam and Jack were cute together, but, lets face it, he's a bit old for her now. I loved the banter between O'Neill and Daniel, and the friendship between him and Carter. The whole show just rocked - although I wasn't a big Teal'c fan. I don't really have a favourite season - I loved them all. I was so sad when the final episode aired. Long live SG-1!
I've written a number of SG-1 fics, the most successful being 'SG High', which I keep meaning to revise. I've come to a bit of writers block with the Stargate Universe at the moment, but I do intend to come back to it soon.
Stargate Atlantis:
Not as good as SG-1, but definitely up there. The second season was by far the best, and the fourth is a bit dull. When I first started watching it I like Sheppard/Teyla, McKay/Weir and Beckett/Cadman. Now I quite like McKay/Carter (unlike a lot of people, I don't mind her on Atlantis) and Weir/O'Neill. McKay and his techno-babble is brilliant, Beckett and Lorne rock, I quite like Ronon, but I'm not a big fan of Teyla. Dr Keller is fine, but, let's face it, she's no Dr Beckett.
Dr Who:
First off, David Tennant is the Doctor (although I've heard rumours about Harry Lloyd taking over the role in a few years, that would be cool!). I used to hate Rose, but now she's growing on me. I much prefer Martha's character, even if she is ever so slightly stuck up. I'm not sure if she's right for the Doctor romantically, but she's much more fun to watch. I didn't think I would, but I really like Donna. She's funny, and I love how everyone thinks she and the Doctor are together. And of course, it was the show that created Captain Jack Harkness...
Torchwood:
Could there be a better show? Seriously, cute guys, aliens and gore. Plus it's much more realistic that a lot of Sci-Fi shows. I mean, if the world is about to be destroyed by aliens, you're gonna swear right? A lot. I love Jack/Ianto, but you can see Jack loves Gwen (did anyone see the episode 'Meat'? He could have snogged her, like, five times). I hate Rhys and wish he would be killed by aliens...or Jack. Owen is an oblivious moron, but I love him. He's my favourite character. It's so obvious that he and Tosh like each other. I wish they'd just stop dancing around each other and get together already. I also wish They'd (yes, the dreaded 'They') would film a complete Dr Who/Torchwood crossover. Oh, and one final note: Owen Harper is my husband, which makes me the Queen of Weevils! Ask anyone on Robin's Revenge Army, they were there! -Goes to happy FanGirl place-
Favourite Quotes:
Ianto - I have searched for the phrase "I shall walk the Earth and my hunger shall know no bounds," but I keep getting redirected to Weight Watchers.
Owen - to Jack about him trying to drown himself You were watching?
Jack - Skinny guy in tight jeans jumps into water? I was taking pictures.
Jack - Before we go any further, who the hell orders pizza under the name of “Torchwood”?
Owen - Er, yeah, that would be me. Sorry, I’m a twat.
Harry Potter:
I have mixed feelings about this. Don't get me wrong, they're brilliant books, but what was JK thinking when she killed Lupin and Tonks?! Poor Teddy. I'm really glad that there was a happy ending, but I didn't like the last chapter much, it just felt like something was missing. She didn't even mention the characters that had died.
The Stephanie Plum Series:
I love Janet Evanovich's writing style. All of her character's are so funny. I love Joe, and when I first started reading the books I wanted him and Steph to get together, but now I'm definitely leaning more towards Ranger. I also love the Merry Men, but I wished she'd tell us more about them. I love some of the situations Steph gets herself into, and Hooker from the Alex Barnaby series rocks.
The Twilight Series:
What can I say? Best books ever pretty much sums it up. I wasn't to thrilled at the idea of werewolves, but Stephenie Meyer pulled it off! To all those Jacob haters, please, just stop it! Jake is amazing and doesn't deserve all the crap he's getting. I felt so sorry for him at the end of Eclipse. I'm not sure if he's right for Bella romantically, but I hope he's happy in the end...maybe with Leah. From what I've seen online, a lot of people aren't happy about Robert Pattison playing the part of Edward Cullen. However, I think he'll make an AMAZING Edward. Not sure about Kristen Stuart for Bella, but I've never really seen any of her work. Kellan Lutz for Emmett = brilliant. I've mixed feelings about the rest of the cast - Carlisle will be fantastic, but I'm not sure about the others. And what is up with Jasper's hair?
I've started a series called the Bella/Cullen bonding series, as we never really get to find out much about Bella's relationship with any Cullen other than Edward. First in the series (and my favourite so far) is 'Daughter to Father', second is 'Big Brother' and the third is 'Sisterhood'. Currently a work in progress.
About me: I want to be an author when I'm older, so I'd be really happy if you reviewed my fics, and keep in mind I'm only fourteen. Thanks!
