Alright... what do you wanna know about me?

Now known as: Freiheit1692

I apologise for the constant changing of PenNames on fanfiction. Ever since I've joined this site, I've still been trying to establish my identity and 'make my mark', as some might say. Going through different phases of life kinda makes you want to change your identity. Just to note, Freiheit stands for 'Freedom' in German. Liberty is something I firmly believe in as a person and it reminds me of the United States, which I love dearly. Up till now, I've written a few stories, many of them which is beneath my standard of decency. But they'll pass. Until I have time to revise them, I'll leave it as such.

If it isn't obvious enough, I am a girl, a teenager. If I'm not studying in school, I'm either fantasising of my next fanfiction or sleeping my head off.

Traveling is my life. Period. Every vacation, I travel extensively and tend to ramble on with a mild accent at times. Oh, typical me. Like I once read someone's biography on fanfiction, writing is a form of escapism for me. It allows me to put these ideas across, without being judged by those I know. I don't really read a lot (blame it on the piles of homework), neither do I listen to much music (save for classical which my parents love). Haha, it might actually explain why I'm not those homogenous teenagers who live on commercialised coffee, worship the media and think that being mean is the new black.

For the record, I do review every single story I read, unless a strange compelling force prevents me from doing so. One thing's for sure: I do not see a purpose in flaming another person's work. It doesn't make you nor the author feel better. Rationality states that constructive criticism (and some acknowlegement for effort) is still the best way for reviewing. I believe that every author deserves out encouragement and more so, our gratitude for showcasing their work. Trust me, before I started out, the feeling was overwhelming. It's another reason why I still go anonymous for fear of recognition from people that may actually know me.

Anyhow, enough with my boring life. For anyone's who actually reading, I shall list the things I like.

Prison Break
It's getting a little ridiculous in Season 3, but we'll watch Season 4 and judge for ourselves. Michael Scofield's a genuis and I hope the producers bring Sara Tancredi and him together in the end.

Survivor
I've been watching this since I was 8! It's surprisingly entertaining to watch them backstab each other. Who can forget Johnny Fairplay? I love Erik from Survivor China (or what was it?) I am a fan of Orlando Bloom and this guy looks almost like a clone. Gives me more reasons to watch the show. And this guy from one of the previous seasons of The Apprentice also looks just like him. They look like triplets!

Avatar, the Legend of Aang
You can't not like this show. The plot is one of the most creative I've seen and it actually makes Nickelodeon a better channel. Can you believe that Zuko and Katara's voice talents are actually Jake Long and Rose from The American Dragon? As much as I want them to end up together, the producers don't seem to think that opposites attract. Oh well.
Jet is my all-time favourite Avatar character. He's got the looks and his voice is sexy. He might fit into the whole bad boy image, but sadly, he doesn't exactly redeem himself in the end. Sigh.

My favourite pairings include:
Jet / Katara ( No one can kill Jet! )
Zuko / Katara ( Did you see Mai? Maiko looks horrible! Yuck! )
Sokka / Suki / Yue ( If you think about it, Sokka does get all the ladies. Looks like the funny guy takes all. I mean, even Ty Lee thinks he's "cute". )
Aang / Toph ( They are the right age and they look adorable together. )

Anime Movies
Princess Mononke
Spirited Away
Howl's Moving Castle
5cm per Second
The Girl Who Leapt Through Time

Say whatever you want. I love anime movies. Most trashy Hollywood movies aren't able to reduce me to tears. But some anime movies can actually force tears out of muy eyes. Every anime movie I have watched has become a favourite of mine. One complaint of mine is that the girl and guy of the film NEVER end up together (unlike typical Hollywood films, most of them anyway). Don't get me wrong, Hollywood films are awesome, it's just that an increasing number of them are becoming sub-standard and not the usual goodness it should be. All the characters of the anime films I've watched are down-to-earth and have some sort of character development, which is hard to come across in other films I've watched. And I somehow fall in love with the guy in the film... that's how powerful it is. Go watch. Now.

Harry Potter
I'm not crazy over the series like I once was because the 7th book didn't live up to standards and was a little disappointing. But the whole series in itself is wonderful. Harry Potter actually kick-started my whole love for fantasy because everything is supposed to fit like a precise mechanism. It makes up for the lack of realism in the story.

My favourite pairings include:
Harry / Cho Chang
Ron / Hermione
Lupin / Tonks
James / Lily
Neville / Luna
Draco / (self-insert) I'm just kidding. I'm no longer obsessed over him. There's just no one that he can live with.

Favourite characters:
Draco ( I know J.K. Rowling said that it's an unhealthy fascination. But I can't help it when puberty arrives! LOL)
Regulus Arcturus Black ( I just like the name)
Sirius Black
James Potter

The Chronicles of Narnia
I loved the movies more than the books. Ever since the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe was released, I thought Peter was really cute...and when Prince Caspian came out this year, I fell for the royalty as well as Skandar Keynes. Damn, they make the people in Harry Potter look un-hot in comparison. The action sequences are so much cooler. 'nuff said.

Eragon
Lots of people hate the whole idea. But I love it. I have only watched the movie and although others flame it, I thought it was pretty good and did have some sort of entertainment value. Hey, that's what movies are meant for, right? I love Edward Speelers, but he only looks good from certain angles. Sigh. Arya is like virtually non-existent to me. Get the drift?

Peter Pan
The book and the movie (both Disney and life-action version) were really good. I do admit, I have been diagnosed with the Peter-Pan syndrome cos I'm stuck in childhood. Or at least my thoughts are.

Twilight
No one can make vampires and werewolves sound/feel/look hot or cool, with the exception of Stephenie Meyer. My friends in school couldn't stop raving about how handsome and mesmerising Edward Cullen was. So I decided to read the book, falling head over heels instead, with Jacob Black. I've always had a thing for canines.

Tokio Hotel
They're my all-time favourite band because they have the whole package. They're simply unique in their talents. I've never seen a German band adapt to English songs so easily. Plus, Bill's hot with his uber cool hair and awesome voice.
