Author has written 40 stories for Pokemon, and Yu-Gi-Oh. Ilex = Holly = my real name, and since I'm one of the few 30+ authors out there, the "Elder" tag should be self-explanatory, LOL. I have three Pokemon-obsessed kids, so that should explain my foray into Pokemon fanfic. I've also recently branched out into the world of Yu-Gi-Oh, thanks to my oldest son.
Although Eldershipping is a favorite theme of mine, many of my fics also touch on other 'ships (Pokeshipping being the most dominant). You'll also notice that in many of my fics I make several references to Oak doctoring Pokemon; hey, I had to put the three years I suffered in vet school to good use somehow! While searching through some files the other day, I found a story that I had written nearly two years ago and never published since it had been partially wiped out due to a corrupt file. Fortunately, I was able to recover most of the file and with a few minor edits, it's ready to go again. Even though I'm not actively writing fanfic anymore, FF.net seemed like the best place for this story to ultimately end up...and 40 seemed like a nice, round number with which to end my fanfic career.Many thanks to all of you who have taken time out to read and review my stories.
