Our hands intertwine as we walk down the dark, empty street.
The wind is our music as our feet step in time.
A smile plays quietly on my lips as I catch you staring at me.
We stop to stare up at the never-ending night sky.
Our bodies react to each other’s movements

You lean down,
I look up,
Our lips touch,

Although its not the first time,
My heart starts to race just like it has done many times before,
Making me wonder how I ever managed to survive without you.
