Time for an update, I thought. Since I'm no longer in college... I'm now in UNIVERSITY!!

Haha, I never thought I'd be quite so psyched to be in an institution of higher learning... Sort of.

Anyways, it's been a huge first couple of months for my lucky year (it's a looooooooooong story) but in short I didn't fail maths despite almost never going to class and that must mean I truly am brilliant... until someone brings out my chemistry marks. I also got a B in english!! A-Level English!! Yay!

Ahem. It just shows that writing fanfiction is good for your english marks... I've proven it.

I also got a house- which my buddies and I are trying to turn into something livable. Who knew an old lady never cleaned? Yuck!

So yes, I'm still stuck with weird roomies and a girl who makes me jealous with her... assets. ;D

Ok, I used to have one of those copy and paste poems here, but then I figured this might be better.

My brother- a remarkable, intelligent guy, is gay. I got a review last year saying that there was no way I could be Christian and support gay rights. Guess what? I can. I refuse to believe that my brother is going to go to hell for a sin which is no greater than adultery or lying or, heck, using God's name in vain.

I'm not saying he's right. I'm saying it's his choice and I refuse to stop supporting him simply because he dates other men. This is the guy who raised me and my other brothers when my parents weren't around. He's the guy wo taught me to play the piano. He's the guy I can call in the middle of the night when things just get too stressful.

He loves me and supports me in a way no one else in this world does.

He's the guy who's gotten beaten simply because he likes guys. He's gotten beaten to near death because he's too soft hearted to ever hurt anyone on purpose. He always gets sneered at by other guys. He's also the guy who taught me about unconditional love and standing up for what you believe in. He's the guy who hugged me and tended my bruises when I got into fights.

So I am able to see past this sin of his. After all, we sin every day. Each of us. We all have good and bad points- I drink and smoke and swear. Heck, the probability of me getting married and still being a virgin is almost guaranteed not to happen. I also have a tattoo... Gee, I am a bad girl, aren't I?

So yes, I am friends with a lot of gay and lesbean people. Because they're PEOPLE. They choose certain things that may be frowned upon- that doesn't make them less than you.

What was it Jesus said... something about removing the log from your own eye before you try to remove the splinter from your brother's?

So take your "Christians can't support gays" speeches and stick them. I know them all by heart. I also know that Jesus didn't go heal all the goos little Christians who lived perfect lives, he came to save the rest of us. That's why I'm a Christian. Not to sneer at the rest of the world and tell them they're wrong and going to hell.

If you're so concerned about moral decay, open the church doors instead of closing them. Let the message get out, don't keep it greedily inside. God, after all, works through you as a person.

Because- in God's own words, we should all be going to hell.

In my opinion, the only reason that gayness is so openly debated around the world is that some people refuse to cover it up. Yes, its a lot harder to cover up than shagging your boyfriend- not MORE wrong.

It's a lot harder to cover up than a tattoo- not more wrong.

It's a lot harder to cover than greed, gluttony, murder or using the lord's name in vain. So of course we shall all peck it to death.

Face it- none of us are saints. If you need someone to mock and scorn in order to make yourself feel better, then you truly are a small, insecure, petty person.
