Hello my name is Wilkins. I am attending Ohio Unversity. I love playing video games (Xbox gamer tag Wilkins75) and writing these stories.
Ways to know you have played Call of Duty 4 too much. (From the Facebook group called You know you have been playing Call of Duty 4 too long when...)
when you start to be very careless in real life dangerous situations with the logic that you will respawn within 10 seconds
when you search Ebay for a UAV jammer
when the leader boards say Total hours spent:99days:23hrs:52min
when you start saying noob in real life
when you dont respond to your real name but respond to anything that sounds like your gamertag or username
when you walk around the cubicles in your work area pretending it's Vacant and throw wadded up paper "frag grenades" at your co-workers while shouting "FRAG OUT!!"
when you shoot your quail hunting partner in the face, thinking friendly fire is off.
when you knife your friend in the back thinking the noise will be funny, then you realize that you are playing hardcore.. No wait this is real life, oh crap I need to get to Mexico quick
when you plant claymores at your bedroom door to keep the monsters out C.O.D. 4 style
when you associate tall grass with slow-moving tanks and soldiers
when your definition of a sniper rifle is an RPD with deep penetration and a Red Dot
when you snatch other people's laptops and you think to yourself, "just two more of these damn things".
when you're playing hide and seek with your pre-school aged daughter and you yell, "Has anyone got a UAV?"
when u call a soldier on CNN a Noob for having the M203 on his M16
when everytime you fall backwards, you play it off by going into last stand and realizing it won't work and kill yourself
when you watch the GPS in your car for red dots
when you go hunting and the guy in the tree stand is a n00b CaMPer
when you yell "Cover me, I'm Reloading!" when you put more paper in the copying machine at work
when you start shooting BB guns at ants to pretend
you're a AC-130.
when you think running 40 feet is extreme conditioning
when you tell a guy online to calm down it's just a game and he responds, "No it's not!! It's a way of life!!" True story
when you hear what sounds like a pin drop and you take off sprinting around the corner
when you try to think of new tactics and ways to flank when you are: trying to go to sleep, in church, in class, driving, etc
whenever you watch a war movie and somebody gets hit by a grenade you say "they should've pressed R2"
when you start using the windows of your house as entry and exit points
when you see people crowed together and you think...that would be a good spot for a martyrdom
every time you pick up your briefcase to go to work you yell "We've got the bomb!"
when you have a pop quiz in your class and you tell everyone to "vote to skip".
when you can't sleep because you are thinking which attachment/perk/gun combination works better on each level
when you run away from dead bodies
when you go to play Halo 3 and you click the analog stick to sprint
when you debate with your friends that although red dot gives you no statistical advantage it is the best attachment
when you start a group on playing call of duty then check it every day to read the new posts
FYI I borrowed most of these
I have added some from the wall of this group...
