So, what do you need to know? Well, first off, my real name's Nicole. I'm almost 21 and in my third year of college here in Portland, Oregon. I love to write. I used to write a lot, but lately I've had major writer's block. I don't think I've written/update a fanfic in over a year. Basically, I used to have an awesome muse, but then it abandoned me. And I mean that metaphorically, as nothing tangible has ever been my muse, at least not conciously. Anyway, what else can I tell you? Ah, yes, I should probably mention I'm a self-admitted addict
to television. That's right, I am a slave to the idiot-box. What do I watch, you ask? The easier question is what don't I watch, but what fun is that? I'll give you some of my favorites that are still alive and well on TV and I always make sure to watch every week (or at least record on my FauxVo): Veronica Mars, CSI: New York, Lost, Grey's Anatomy, Supernatural, Smallville (but only for Chloe, Lex, and Lionel), NCIS, Prison Break, Gilmore Girls, the Office, ER, Scrubs, Instant Star, Bones, House, CSI, CSI: Miami, Entourage, All My Children (yes, I threw a soap opera in here) and Numb3rs ---- although not necessarily in that order. Shows I watch/try to watch, mostly like, but am not completely devoted to: One Tree Hill, the O.C., Desperate Housewives, My Name is Earl, Everybody Hates Chris, Las Vegas and Crossing Jordan. And finally, I want to throw in shows of Christmas Past that still hold a dear place in my heart: Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Dead Like Me, Wonderfalls, Angel, Firefly, Boomtown, Dark Angel, Strange Days at Blake Holsey High, Roswell, Tru Calling, Salute Your Shorts, the Secret World of Alex Mack, the Tribe, Everwood, Dawson's Creek, Felicity, and I could probably go on, but I'm going to stop here.
I've noticed others do this, so I'm going to follow suit and throw out some of my favorite ships, but you're going to have to just guess what show they are from: Danny/Lindsay, Chloe/Lex, Veronica/Logan, Tony/Abby, Pam/Jim, Booth/Bones, Chase/Cameron, Bright/Hannah, Ziva/McGee, Neela/Ray, Tommy/Jude, Izzie/George, Christina/Burke, Angela/Hodgins, Sawyer/Ana Lucia, Mac/Wallace, Jack/Kate, Sadie/Kwest, Mason/George, Jaye/Eric, Kaylee/Simon, Mal/Inara, Zoe/Wash, Rory/Jess, Angel/Cordiela, Gunn/Fred, Lindsay/Flack, Veronica/Weevil, Jayne/Kaylee, Max/Alec, Max/Logan, Joel/Teresa, Tru/Jack, Catherine/Warrick, Chloe/Flash, Chloe/Dean (crossover there), Chloe/Whitney, and there are probably more, but I can't think of them right now.
Anyway, on a final note, I just want y'all to know that tend to write mainly to get some ideas I have out of my
system. I also tend to write in new characters in shows, that way I
have at least one character I have down pact, and I admit, the
characters are a little Mary-sueish, but hey, at least I'm owning up to
it, right? I also have a couple other Pen Names on this site
(snarkypixie and fearlesspixie) if you want to give any of my other
stories a go. Right now, because of my terrible writer's block, most of my stories are on a long term hiatus, however, once my classes are over (June 14th), I'm going to try to get back into them. Oh, and if you have ideas for stories that you don't want to write yourself, I'd be more than happy to try and write a fic for you.
