Author has written 15 stories for Rurouni Kenshin, Inuyasha, and Fullmetal Alchemist. Okay, so I just had a quick read of my profile... Man, that was bleak. Anywho, I gave it an overhaul and here's the result. My name's Julie and I'm twenty, I live in Vancouver, Canada and I am a nerd. No really, nerd, of the upmost. I love History, Literature, Biology, Psychology, Language Studies (Spanish, Mandarin, Japanese, German)... I don't do Chemistry, Mathematics or Physics. Numbers and equations scare me. I'd like to get a MA in Psychology and work with youth with addictions. I know, I'm gonna be in college for freakin' ever! On the side, I'd love to write a novel. What can I say? I'm a glutton for punishment. So... My favorite pass times are reading (Hence my account with this site), writing (Once again, hence my account with this site), dance, camping, anime, drawing, cosplay and volunteering. I do a lot of my volunteer work with the Pride office at my college, so if you go to Douglas College, stop in and say "hey!" The day I found this website was one of the most dangerous days of my life. My parents have to bribe me to come down for dinner. My three sisters swear my eyes are square from looking at the computer moniter. My Documents folder is filled with half written fan fictions. Dangerous! I've gotten questioned and snickered at for my penname, 'thebestIcan.' I guess I'll explain this or endure more. My favorite Renaissance painter Jan Van Eyck humbly signed his work in the corner with "das beste kann iche," German for "the best I can." It was his way of saying "this is as good as it's gonna get, so here you go, I'm done." I'm not comparing myself to him, just saying that I only post my best work, following in his example.
