My name is Marjolein and I'm from Holland. I'm 16 years old, and I live with my mom, brother, and my adorable cat Foppe(It's Frisian!).
I am a very bubbly person. I say a lot of things that make no sense, and, like I read on some post card: "I think for a long time... and then I say something stupid"
That does not mean I can't be serious. I have been suicidal, depressed, and I've been through a lot of shit in my life. But I have decided it is best to move on, and enjoy the ride; you never know when it's over.
I love occult things like Wicca, tarot cards, tending my altar, etc. I AM NOT a follower of Satan. Thought I might point that out. Also, I'm not Anti-christian. Sure, I don't go to church, but I DO respect other peoples' religion.
I love chocolate. It gets me through these tough schooldays.. Recently, I have fallen in love with Ben & Jerry's New York Fudge(?). In my opinion it's like a little piece of heaven crammed in a 500 ml. container.
My favourite colours are: Red, purple, black, dark blue and dark green.
Favourite Gemstones: Amethyst, Diamond, Sapphire, Emerald, Ruby, Onyx.
Favourite (incense)scents: red roses, lilacs, the moon(incense), lavender, musk, amber, and many more. Incense helps me to relax, and retreat from this hectic life.
My hobbies are :
Reading - LotR, HP, and all fiction books or historical stories. I'm planning on reading the silmarillion, and have tried countless times, but I get stuck around page sixty.
Computer : I love just to surf around, and read fanfics, and of course review them. I also play on freerice.com. If you have spare time, I suggest you go there. It boosts your vocabulary, and you help people in Africa.
Writing- I write almost everything, from fanfics to poetry and columns, from dark to normal. Really, it depends on my mood, which can change every hour. If you click on the Homepage link, you'll find my LiveJournal page.
Listening music- I like almost every sort of music- it depends on my mood. Believe me, this is only a fraction of what I listen to. As you may have noticed, which you haven't, I listen to almost every type of music.
I love cartoons, I watch them more than my brother.Naruto is, currently, the only anime I'm interested in.
My favourite movies are: Everything that's fictional or historical. And, of course, Disney movies.
Dislikes: White clothes. people who judge (me) too soon, school, PE class, cheese.

As you may have noticed, I love the character of Haruno Sakura. To me, she is a very complex person who needs more love and attention, if not for the fact she will be the one to knock some sense in Sasuke-the-horrible-avenger.

SasoriXDeidara - (sigh) My guilty pleasure, I guess... One of my friends recommended a story to me, and I got addicted. You can go ahead and shun me, I don't care.

Stories which have a pairing in it with an OC. I DO, however, make exceptions for really well written stories.

Incest fics.
Naruto Chatboxes. Not because I think they're stupid, but because they confuse me.
I aboslutely HATE Mary-Sues.
Stories I almost hate to read:
Stories with lots of TYPO'S!
'your' and you're are two whole different things! Just like 'their' and they're! Seriously, I can't stand reading fics in which this is done wrong all the time. A few mistakes, alright, it happens. But seriously. Use the spelling check on this site. It's there for a reason. Also, there happens to be a beta section on this site. There, you will find a beta who fits your standards and your story. I'm a beta too, by the way.
And I don't like it when authors use i instead of I. It annoys me. The Shift button was invented for a reason, and hates to be neglected.
A basic review guide. I wrote this myself, so I may have missed a lot.
1. If possible, compliment the writer on writing a character very much like the canon, for coming up with an original plotline.. anything which is unique, or extremely well done. Always start off positive, especially if you plan on criticizing parts of the story, or spelling.
2. Share your thoughts about the story/chapter you're reviewing. 'I loved the part where' 'I liked how' 'I think that..'. Authors love to know what their readers felt when they were reading one of their stories, and if their readers actually have got a clue of what's going on.
3. Point out some flaws or mistakes if you find them. Being an author myself, I know it is annoying when you have typo's or any other flaws in your story. Try to put it nicely. Don't call the author stupid or something, just point it out. We're human, you know. Also, if you think a sentence should be tweaked a little, say it, don't force the writer; it's still their story, after all.
4. If your review is quite long, which mine usually are, recap. If you're adding the story to your Favourites or something, mention it.
5. Lastly: be creative. And be honest. Don't hesitate to point out mistakes, or tell the author what you DIDN'T like. As the review window says, a well rounded review is the most rewarding thing for an author. And really; what goes around, comes around.
