Favorite Pairings

-Vegeta & Bulma – DragonBallZ/ DragonBall GT
These two are both very passionate about the things that matter most in their lives and they’re very attractive people. They also both have a tendency to sometimes (well at least in Bulma’s case) rub people the wrong way and can quickly become quite argumentative. Simply put, these two deserve each other.

-Gohan & Videl – DragonBallZ/ DragonBall GT
Gohan and Videl have got to be the first couple that I will willingly declare as ‘cute’. They relate to each other in so many ways and I could never see them with any one else in the series. Period. End of story…

-Krillen & Android 18 - DragonBallZ/ DragonBall GT
My first reaction to these two was ‘What the…? Krillen, have you been dropped on your head one too many times?’ After all, it’s not common for someone to literally fall in love with someone after such a brief (and at the same time terrifying) encounter and it’s really rarer if the other person returns the feelings. And yet for some reason, the pairing works. I can't really explain it myself, but it does.

-Beast Boy & Raven – Teen Titans
The classic case of when ‘opposites attract’. He’s fun, outgoing and a clown, and she’s serious, reserved and with one look can strike fear into even the toughest man. However, what makes this couple so likable is that despite being so very different (and being at each other’s throats), they really have a lot in common, and they both acknowledge it. And even though the series ended like it did, there’s potential that these two could in time be more than just friends.

-Robin & Starfire – Teen Titans
There are so many reasons why these two belong together, from the events that led them to meet, to the obvious attraction (and at times jealousy) between the two, and the fact that they are constantly seen in each other’s company. Plus the two while not as opposite as Beast Boy is to Raven, they also help to balance each other out.

-Cyborg & Bumblebee – Teen Titans
I know what you’re thinking. This pairing while implied in the animated series seems nice, it also seems created just so that Cyborg isn’t the odd man out. But I don’t really look at it that way; after all Bumblebee does act like she likes him, and hey, you never know...

-Ashelin & Torn – Jak 2 & 3
Ashelin & Torn fit together like a glove. They both bear the persona of being ‘bad’ and they’re clearly not people to be messed with. There’s also that assumption that they might have a history together when they worked together among the ranks of the Krimzon Guard.

-Ricky & Adrian - The Secret Life Of An American Teenager

-Henry Tudor & Catherine of Aragon - The Tudors

-Henry Tudor & Anne Boleyn - The Tudors

-Princess Mary Tudor & Philip of Bavaria - The Tudors

Pairings That I’m Opened To

-Robin & Raven – Teen Titans
Both the old school comic series and the animated series hinted that these two could be something more and for good reason. Robin and Raven have very similar personalities and at times, similar temperaments as well. They also don’t always express their emotions as well as others well that they should. And of course, there’s the fact that the two ‘bonded’ when Raven got inside Robin’s head in ‘Haunted’ and the bond the two shared over Season 4.

-Beast Boy & Terra– Teen Titans
I may be a Purple&Green fan, but I also cannot deny the cuteness that is Beast Boy and Terra. Yes the little stick person did go and betray her friends, but we all know Terra had her reasons (though twisted and somewhat greedy they were), and I feel that it’s also possible that she really did feel for Beast Boy. And despite all that had happened, Beast Boy was willing to start again with Terra when he ‘found’ her at the end of the series. That alone is enough for me to hope out a faint hope for these two.

-Jak & Ashelin - Jak 2 & 3
This is only thanks to what I thought I observed in Jak 3. And at the same time, these pairing could work. After Jak’s transformation over Jak 2, it seemed that he and Keira and had drifted apart. And even though they seemingly made up, in Jak 3 there was no indication that the two actually did since there was absolutely no implications or references to the two as a couple. Same goes for Ashelin and Torn.

-Vegeta & Chichi - DragonBallZ/ DragonBall GT
This is thanks to The Angel That Fallen (May she rest in peace) and her sister (whose name escapes me. Sorry!). Both had written stories revolving around this unlikely couple and I fell in love with the pairing, especially knowing how the two of them hated each other in the actual series. The last time I checked, the stories 'An Affair To Remember' and the sequel 'Torn' had seemingly disappeared off of Fanfiction. So if the writer sees this message: please repost or at least tell people where you’ve relocated them! I want to finish 'Torn'!

-Bulma & Yamcha - DragonBallZ/ DragonBall GT
There are by far way too many stories about how Bulma cheated on Yamcha or how Yamcha cheated on Bulma, or something that eventually drove the two apart. I do love Bulma and Vegeta together, but I’m still willing to hear a Bulma&Yamcha fic, be it before Vegeta came into the picture or even if Bulma and Yamcha actually stayed together, as long as it’s not too OOC.

-Cyborg & Jinx - Teen Titans
Once upon a time, these two mortal enemies had a thing for one another (though granted at the time, Jinx thought Cyborg was an aspiring villian named Stone), and even though Jinx eventually turns good and hooks up with Kid Flash, it would've been interested to see what could've happened between those two.

-As you may already know, I plan to make additional ‘Soundtrack Of My Life’ fics for the remaining Titans West and East (yes, you nay-sayers this would mean Terra as well). Unsolved Mysteries of the Teen Titans

-Where (or better yet what) happens to Beast Boy's clothes when he morphes into animals?

-Raven's powers are greatly affected by emotions. So in 'Deep Six' why didn't she cause a cave-in or do some serious damage when she was found practically drooling over Aqualad?

-What was in the briefcase Robin managed to recover at the end of 'Revved Up'?

- Three words in regards to Cyborg's story arc in Season 3 and the final TT episode, 'Things Change': what the @?!

-Starfire has had some decent episodes to herself. So why was our beloved Tamareanen (sp?) princess denied a story arc of her own? She could have pulled it off, right?

-The whole Terra/'Tara' thing. Enough said.

-I'm not shallow, and I don't only look at a man for just his outer appearance or what he has materially, but seriously, what was Kitten thinking when she was dating and (winces) kissing Fang? Ugh!!

-This has been bugging me such the ending of 'Betrothed'. Would Blackfire as vindictive a creature as she was, really just disappear into nothingness as it seemed when Starfire banished her from Tamarean? I was pretty certain that she would have reappeared once more in the series to settle the score with her 'little sister'...

-While we're talking about Blackfire, why is it that she is the only one of her kind with black hair and black but normal-looking eyes? In 'Betrothed' it seemed as if red hair and green-on-green eyes were hereditary amongst the Tamaraneans...

-Slade had been the Titans' most worthy adversary for 3 of the show's 5 seasons. He was absent in Season 3 of course because he was pronounced dead, but isn't it a bit odd that he basically went AWOL during the last season (well except for the -how ironic- last episode)?

-After fulfilling her purpose as 'the portal', why is it that (not that i hate Raven - she's my fav) Raven didn't cease to exist but instead regressed to a child-like state?

Topics That Should Have Been Covered in the Teen Titans Animated Series (a.k.a The Reason Why There Should Have Been a Season 6+):

-Some sort of plausible explanation as to how Terra/'Tara'/'whoever the heck she is now' changed back from stone and what she did between then and up to when she and Beast Boy met.

-Once again, some sort of story arc for Starfire. Basically everyone else had one (even Terra did), so why not her?

-Clues as to whether Jinx truly stayed on the side of good (Yes I know that the comic book series shows that she did but still...).

-An explanation about the creature the Titans fought throughout 'Things Change'. Was it the handywork of Slade or something/someone else?

-There had be hintings of friendship and mutual understanding between Beast Boy and Raven (courtesy of episodes such as 'Nevermore','Spellbound', and 'The Beast Within'). Could it and would it have blossomed into something more? I certainly hope so...

-An episode that reveals how the members of Titans East met.

-The possibility that Jericho and Slade were related (they were in the old school comic series).

Teen Titans Easter Eggs and Trivia

-Look closely at Raven's brooch in 'Nevermore' and briefly in 'The Beast Within'. There is an insignia of a raven inside of it.

-Talk about your slip-ups. In 'Nevermore', Raven's "happy" side declares that pink is her favorite color, but then in 'The End - Part 3', Raven goes on to say to Beast Boy that "blue is still her favorite color". So what gives? Did the writers forgo this fact thinking that no one would notice, or does each of Raven's emotions/personalities have individual likes and dislikes contrary to hers?

-In 'Switched', note Raven's hair when Starfire startles her outside of her room at night. It's in the shape of...well, a raven.

-When translated, the Japanese lyrics of the Teen Titan theme song (supposedly the karaeoke (sp) version featured in 'Trouble In Tokyo') do not match the English lyrics. Frankly, I think they don't make any sense at all:

-While Robin visually resembles the Tim Drake version of Robin, several hints point to his original being that of Dick Grayson. First off, in 'Fractured' Larry's real name is 'Nosyarg Kcid' - 'Dick Grayson' in reverse. Dick was also the only Robin to have a romantic relationship with Starfire and he is the one who eventually becomes Nightwing.

-In the episode, 'Calling All Titans', Speedy is attacked by a strange and cat-like girl wearing a mask resembling the Cheshire Cat's grin. Ironically, this was the creators little shoutout to the SpeedyXCheshire pairing that existed in the old school comics. Apparently the two had a little fling, one which resulted in the birth of a daughter, Lian.

I'll post some more of these when I catch some TT reruns...
