Author has written 1 story for Kim Possible. UPDATED (because I was really bored): NOW WITH 43 PERCENT MORE CRAP! :-) "Death... By Snoo-Snoo!" (Femputer) "Just FYI, I could be used for Snoo-Snoo..." (Zap Brannigan from Futurama) My Personal Heroes: Wonder Woman. No Joke. It is my long held belief that women can be powerful, fit and capable and STILL be feminine, and vice versa (and not look like some hyper masculine, 0 percent body fat, female powerlifter HULK to do so). In a nut shell she is the ideal of honor, beauty, confidence, brains and ability. She's more than a match for Superman, befuddles Batman and makes all the men swoon like little boys with grade school crushes. Yet, through it all, she's ALL goddess inside and out (literally). I also have a powerful weakness for brunette Mediterranean beauties ;-) She was my first crush. Marie Curie: A truly remarkable woman. The ONLY person (man or woman) to win two Nobel Prizes in separate fields, one in Physics (1903) and the other in Chemistry (1911). She was beyond gifted, beyond brilliant; her biography is an incredible read. Linus Pauling: When history speaks of great men, they are talking about Linus Pauling. Winner of the Nobel Prize for Chemistry (1954) and the Nobel Peace Prize (1962), this cat, like Madame Curie, was beyond gifted; a true renaissance man with a remarkable intellect. Wiki him and prepare to be dazzled. Nigella Lawson: This Sensual Epicurean and Domestic Goddess with her perfect bedroom hair -and dreamy bust- is my Id made manifest. I'm in lurv with her -blush and swoon- Julia Child: Besides being the Mother of the modern food movement in the US (and that was in her 50's when she began!), she is perhaps one of the most remarkable women to have lived in the last century. No one can deny the woman lived an incredibly exciting and full life, beginning with her work for the OSS (Office of Strategic Services) as a Spy during WWII and later to her world travels and ultimately her peerless work in getting people to embrace the joys and richness of world cuisines, ie. to get them cooking again! Everything we love about food today, about food culture and it's overwhelming popularity, all of it, can be traced back to her efforts. Check out her bio. What I love: Reading Books (or in general): (Anything with a good plot and well written, provided it piques my interest, i.e. anything romantic, Yuri, or a good mystery I love Rex Stout and Agatha Christie, just to name a few). I'm especially attracted to strong Female leads (perhaps why Shego and Wonder Woman appeal to me so much), but I'm disappointed that modern authors feel the need to almost ALWAYS pair their leads off as soon as possible with some tacked on idealized love interest -such that it doesn't feel organic, but just another cliche or paint-by-numbers writing formula. Cooking: (A Woman's gotta eat, so why not eat well) Vagitarian ;-) Food is more than fuel. Krav Maga/Kali/Ju Jitsu: (Because everyone should know how to handle themselves) Martial Arts training should be compulsory for every girl, everywhere. Women: (One of the good lord's Better Ideas!) Intelligence: Intelligence is sexy. Period. Get an education. Read books. Listen more. Get as many different view points as possible, before acting. Try to see all sides to an argument, even if you disagree with them. THINK! Especially for yourself. Logic and Reason, tempered by experience and feeling, these are your allies and very powerful tools. Dentistry: (Dentist w/ the US?? stationed in the Pacific) Baseball: I seriously LOVE Baseball! My Boys: The Seattle Mariners (since before their 116 wins record setting season). I, like many kids, was wowed by "The Kid," Ken Griffey Jr., especially when I got to see him play in the old Kingdom before they tore it down and built SafeCo. Field. Nothing compares to seeing them live at SafeCo. They even broadcast games in Japan (thanks to Right Fielder, Mega-Star and Future Hall-of-Famer, Ichiro Suzuki), though I pull mine off of satellite and TiVo to watch the broadcasts in English. I'm also a fan of the Hanshin Tigers. They are Japan's Boston Red Sox (the Red Sox before they broke the Babe's curse), and I tend to root for hardluck underdogs with heart. In this girl's opinion, that counts for a lot. AND I ABSOLUTELY HATE THE NEW YORK YANKEES! A team of hired primadonna goons and thugs (even their uniforms look like prison issue greys). They are nothin' but overpayed Mercs, not a team (and their fans are some of the worst and most fickle). I dislike them for other reasons of course, but I won't bore you with enumerating them all. Women: ('Cuz there's no such thing as 'too much' of a good thing... especially sultry brunettes.) Yuri: (See: "Women") Music: Diana Krall (too bad she's married to Elvis Costello; though she could have done worse), Old Jazz from the 30's and 40's or Cool/West Coast Jazz, Ella, Billy, DJ Kaskade, RJD2, "Good" House/Techno/Trip-Hop, Classical, Sinatra --I like most anything with the exceptions of country (though I love blue grass), and current hip-hop/rap (though, again, I dig on the Beastie Boys, old LL COOL J, and a few others) I detest most all commercial POP--but I do have a powerful weakness for 80's classics (New Order, etc.). I also enjoy Flamenco guitar, and classical guitar greatly (Andre Segovia). Motorcycles: Every woman should own one! That, and getting to see women in one-piece racing leathers (swoon) Ladies, Stop Riding B!tch! Get your own bikes! Life is so much better up front, especially with some Kitten riding in the seat behind you. I guarantee it ;-) I owned (as of June 08', my poor Honda was totaled while on a ride) an '07 Honda VFR800FIABS (Interceptor): Pleasure on Two Wheels! It is an absolute blast; an all-around joy to ride! (I shall be replacing her with her 08' or 09' sister of the same make and model). Now: My new "Girl Next Door," '09 Honda Interceptor ABS in black. THE best all-around, best riding, most comfortable sport bike I've ever ridden. I LOVE this bike. It's got more than enough power for Little Ol' Me. And as I lack the cumbersome Y chromosome, aka the "Idiot Gene," I don't feel the need to radically overcompensate with some ridiculously overpowered, incredibly uncomfortable and poor handling rocket with wheels tacked on. Track bikes should stay on the track, fellas. It's an incredibly well-balanced ride and very well built. I love Honda everything, even their lawn mowers. Sadly, I don't have a beautiful lawn of green, lush grass of my very own to mow, for the time being. My LBD, "Little Black Dress," 'cuz She's sexy and She dresses up everything for any occasion; '06 Ducati 999s in Black. It's 5.5 feet of Steely Black Sex!! Leave it to the Italians to design and build something so incredibly sexy, and just a touch temperamental (not unlike some women, no?). Ladies take note: this bike will get you laid. It's that HOT! Anime/Cartoons/Comics/Video Games: I am such a closet geek... God help me. I hide this fact like others do drug addiction or a teen aged boy's secret stash of porn. Girls game, read comics and watch cartoons... but given the pervy rabidness of fandom/nerdom/geekdom, I keep it on the very sligh and very Hush-Hush. And I'm a Mac girl. Always have been, since the Apple IIc and the dark years before Steve Jobs return. I also hate Microsoft. Any Man or Woman who can laugh at themselves; be wary of anyone who can't. Kindness and Compassion: Can't stress this enough! Character, Integrity and Honor: becoming a rarity lately... Some of My Favorite Characters: Shizuru/Natsuki: (Mai Hime/Mai Otome) One of my favorite couples (despite how dreadful the anime was in places). That, and I approve of Natsuki's choice of wheels (But I had my Ducati before I saw the series. I still would have gotten it either way) Shego/Kim: Love the KIGO! Having read the arguments regarding their relationship in the series, they are SO GAY FOR EACH OTHER! It is painfully obvious-which is why me thinks they stopped the show at graduation (the writers couldn't keep up the guise any longer). Ps. A little Bonnie in the mix is nice too. That whole show is a veritable trove of virgin (pardon the expression) Femmes waiting for the right moment and "the proper leverage." Mrs. Dr. Possible: Who do you think KP gets her passions from? Yep! This Milfy-Sex-Kitten is (as I believe) a powder keg of raw and as of yet untapped sexual dynamism. I'd love to see her and Shego go for a tussle. Tsunade: In a culture overly obsessed -scarily at times- with youth and cuteness, I'm saddened that Japan has yet to fully appreciate the lusty, sultry beauty of older women. Why Tsunade? 1) big-hearted and compassionate, but by no means "soft" 2) Her Flaws; no gleaming suits of armor or impeccably white hats for my heros. I like'm a little dirty 3) Me being the only "Natural" Scandinavian Blonde in a nation of 200 odd million boasting raven black or chemically altered color, a girl misses the real thing 4) She's built like a Brick Shthouse! drool 5) Wicked strong, passionate and fiery... and did I mention "dirty?" (Yum). 6) Secretly, every (and I do mean every) Japanese male wants to be Dominated and ordered around by a large breasted, outspoken and confident, Strong Blonde woman. 7) SHE'S FREAKIN' HOT! Yuko Ichihara: This xxxholic siren, this keen enchantress is... well, she just makes me melt. Enigmatic and intelligent, this charming and beguiling hedonist (and all around bad ass)... yeah, like I said, she makes me melt (smitten sigh). She's just so sinfully delicious, like that last piece of chocolate cake with chocolate butter cream frosting -dear lord, you just want to lick the plate after your done ;-) Her American voice actress, Colleen Clinkenbeard is beyond superbly sultry in the role. But, how I hate Clamp. xxxholic was one of the best things they've done recently, and they made it a second fiddle, throw away side series to that steaming, angsty pile, Tsubasa (which beyond sucked). I will never forgive them. Major Motoko Kusinagi: Being a military woman, it's damn hard not to love that sexy femme bitch! Her American voice actress, Mary E. McGlynn, has a voice so sultry and sexual she makes my toes curl, and my heart melt (in that good way). Wonder Woman & Black Canary: if only I could get those two together? Or some other writer of exceptional talent in the DCU would answer my feverish dreams... (Drools uncontrollably at such a lovely thought). COMICS NEED HOT LESBIAN COUPLES! FANBOYS (and lesbians) DIG CRAZY HOT LESBIANS! This is a HUGELY untapped market. Cassandra Cain, aka THE HOTTEST, BADDEST BATGIRL, EVER!: S-o-o-o-o-o Hot! HOT! Damn, I'd love to take her Batgirl suit off with my mouth ;-) Oh, and side rant: in a world of magic, super science, and god-like beings with near limitless powers, they can't fix Barbara Gordon and get her out of a wheel chair!? WTF!? Batman gets broken in half by Bain and he makes a comeback!! Don't get me wrong, Batman is the sht! But, come on! Evil/Bad Girls: I'll admit, I have it bad for the sexy Evil girl/villain. Evil and wicked in the right measure are so sexy -not like Hitler, Stalin or Serial Killer Evil, but safe cartoony evil! I have it bad for cartoon and comic super villainesses. Bad Girls need love too (not just sex)! Any Female Miyazaki Character: although the genius has yet to come upon the sapphic brilliance of Yuri or Shoujo-ai; he does strong female characters quite well AND his cadre turn out some damn fine yarns Rock Lee: that goofy bastard's got so much heart and character it's hard not to love'm. The world would be a better place if more kids had that much determination and belief/heart, especially in themselves. I always root for the nice guy/gal; they get the shaft too often. Unless it's a Harem anime, in which case I want the lead male character to die a painful and horrible death in the first episode, so that I might be spared from suffering the half-whit's whining, useless presence and get back to the real topic at hand: Hot Girls and fan service. The male lead in any harem anime is a turd amongst a heavenly feast. Kenji Harima: I love all of School Rumble. It is one of the very reasons I enjoy anime (too bad their are too few gems out there, there's far too much mediocre and derivative anime crap being spit out and consumed!). His voice actor Brandon Potter is spot on and I lurv Luci Christian. The whole show is perfect. Now, if only they would clone Harima so he could get with Eri and Yakumo... sigh. Or better yet, just get Mikoto, Eri and Yakumo together and... faints from heavenly delirium Anko/Iruka: a bit of a crack pair, but I love those two together. The work like Mai and Nao work together, in my opinion. Maria-sama ga Miteru: I'm so-o-o-o addicted to this charmingly touching series. I Love, LOVE, Love, Love, Love, Love... Lady Sachiko, Lady Rei, Lady Sei and Lady Yoko... How I swoon for this simple and heartwarming series, but how I wish it were a little more -tastefully- adult ;-) If you catch my meaning. And Many, Many More... What I dislike: Harem Anime: THEY. MAKE. ME. ILL. So what could possible be wrong about anime that revolves around a group of super hot girls? The Loser Milquetoast Pssy aka THE (whiny loser) MALE LEAD. In RL the loser couldn't get laid in a morgue or a Thai brothel covered in diamonds and gold nuggets and then rolled in hundred dollar bills before being dipped in cocaine and heroin, yet... suppressing homicidal rage at the idiocy of it he magically (as their can be no logical or realistic reason, it must be due to magic) attracts and keeps the attention of a harem of incredible and incredibly, impossibly hot, and usually very intelligent and talented girls and women -while he himself is a fumbling, clueless imbecile: Darwin's cruelest mistake- who all want or are attracted to -also impossibly- the loser. Yeah, right. Now, take out the loser and you've got what could be the greatest anime ever (or make it Yuri and replace the loser with a hot girl = GENIUS! aka THE BEST ANIME EVER!). When I become a billionaire, I shall open my own animation studio and fix this issue. I do however enjoy a few reverse harems, like Ouran High School Host Club (beyond hilarious and PURE FCKING GENIUS!) and Fruits Basket (cute, funny and charming; also genius). I otherwise detest the genre and fan base. Otaku: a scary bunch of dudes and gals (the main reason I don't attend Con's); a natural Blonde in a sea of Otaku... let me see if I can sum it up: A Blonde does not simply walk into Mordor (or a Con). It's black gates are guarded by more than just orcs. There is (pervy) evil there that does not sleep (or bathe). The great eye is ever watchful. It is a barren wasteland, riddled with fire, ash, and dust (and pervs, devoid of soap, deodorant and personal hygiene or personal boundaries and manners). The very air you breathe is a poisonous fume (Testify!). Not with ten thousand Marines could you do this. It is folly. (Church!) KimRon or ShegoRon- makes me violently ill, dude. Seriously. Conservatives: (which is odd considering I work for "Big Brother" Sam)... How I hate them with their wee beady eyes!! (Shakes fist at sky) Anything or Anyone who is: Incompetent, Emo, Shallow, Materialistic or High Maintenance (Waaa-a-a-a-y Too much drama and Too much hassle), greedy or lazy. Conservatives: Did I mention how I hate them so... Bunch of Hypocrites, Sanctimonious Haters and Control Freaks (How or Why people fall for their crap is beyond me) Pretty Boys and Clueless Girls: There are few things more satisfying that shutting down some cocky pretty boy or making him eat the mat/make the mat shine with his face. Ahhh... good times : ) Note: I don't hate All men, but some really get on my last nerve. I don't suffer fools well, either male or female. Gold Diggers/Shallow Women/Wastes of Space: Self Explanatory. Bullies/Unkind People: life's too short for their crap. Greed and Gluttony: It isn't coincidence they're DEADLY SINS! Control Freaks and People Who Micro-Manage: They drive me into fits of murderous, white-hot rage! | |||||
