My name's Bertie; nice to meet you.
Okay, so my name's not actually Bertie, but the second part's true. I live in Britain, home of castles and rain, and am currently studying a completely useless but hugely enjoyable subject at university.
I'd love to tell you I've been writing fanfic since I before I could hold a pen, or that I'd like to be a professional writer, but that would be a lie since I simply find writing to be a more fun and enjoyable method of procrastination than alphabetising my CDs or arranging my closet in colour order.
Most of my fics are posted here, but I've also got myself a shiny new lj account, where I'm currently writing some more Bones oneshots in response to various prompts. (There are going to be a lot of them, so I've not quite worked out how I'm going to post them here yet.) I also beta for o0MissBennet0o whose fics I'd recommend checking out if you're in a browsing/work-avoidance mood.
If you've read/enjoyed/formed any sort of opinion on any of my fics, please go ahead and click that review button. You're guaranteed to get a mildly rambly but very grateful reply, which is hopefully an incentive rather than a deterrent.
My own reviewing habits are kind of erratic, in that I'll go on a spree and review a lot of other stuff an author has written, so if you get a review from me, expect a lot more in a short space of time. I also fully intend to leave lovely long reviews for all the stories I add to my Favorites, telling the author how wonderful their fic is, but it may take me a while. Please bear with me - I am trying to improve my reviewing slackerness.
